In todays video we are putting all the machinery bed for the winter. We move nearly every bit of machinery we have, either moving it around the yard or moving it to one of our out farms. It's the unofficial machinery tour! We also do a quick run through of the condition of each piece of equipment and any work that needs doing before it comes out again.

Great vid Phil, easiest way of parking the trailers is to pick the drawbar up with the tele and put a block under it.

Use the teleporter to lift up the hitch, then block up the hitch.

Well Phil. You could use a beer keg to prevent water lodging in the front of the trailer. Use teleporter to lift drawbar. It’s works great👍👍

Similar with out cattle trailer, but I drop the trailer and with the arm screwed up to the last lift the trailer with the hook. Don't move the trailer this way though as it will ware the arm

Hi Phil, the tractor with the broken window needs new struts. If you check them , one is probably stronger than the other so the different stresses caused on the glass just breaks it eventually. Great video.keep safe..

Tip the trailers a bit then cover the ram in grease to stop it rusting

Love a good tidy up video. Having a designated parking place would be great for you, hope you manage to get that done at some point. No idea what the big freezer unit is for, maybe keeping feed bags in to protect from vermin or potato storage?

Put blocks under the draw bar of the trailer until she is sloping backwards then she wouldn't hold water and blocks behind the wheel to stop it rolling of the blocks Great video Phil 👍🚜

The sad thing of having so much machinery and no where to put it is the amount of time lost moving stuff around. Having purpose built sheds or stricter parking ways would free up a lot of time for those extra maintenance jobs.

Cover the ram in grease when you’ve the block under the frame keeping it tilted back works good

Id say the cow container is either storage for the vintage tractors or a bit of a spray booth

When you put them up for the winter block the front draw bar higher so it sits higher and drains water out of back without exposing ram

Putting stuff away for the winter is a pain in the whole, Ireland in the winter resembles the deck of a trawler in the north Atlantic on many days, My Da used to say “it’s not the tools you have but the tools you use that make your profit” So mind what you need and cull by neglect.

Two ways eather do wat u said tip it up an set it on block an if u worried bout tbe rams grease the rams. R else block up the drawbar till the water runs out

Another great video phil👍you could use the massey digger to clear out the patch and put stone in it.you can use pallets to set your machinery on,.a good concrete area for pressure washin the tractors/equipment,.great video 👍

if you lift up the front of the trailer at the drawbar so ram is closed but body is still tilted up, as the front would be higher than the back. blocks of timber/sleepers would support the weight

Yes tip trailer up prop it and rub grease on the chrome of the ram will keep it free from rust we do it with the dumptrailer no issues yet

On Kane halfpipes they have a small hole or two at the front to let out any water, the hole is in the floor

Hi Phil great video. To get the water out of the front of the trailers just put a concrete block under the stand it should work .👍👍I think the refrigerated container would be for spray painting or holding meet for the shop. Would like to see a video of washing the tankers and umbilical system. Big fan of your work.

Grand video Phil, to keep water outa front of trailers drill two holes in one side and put a plate of metal underneath and put a bolt through so you can slide it across if you want it to be grain tight

Tip it up and put a block in there because the ram will be ok because it will only b exposed ever so slightly

We use to put concrete blocks under trailers so there where lifted high enough the water flows to the back

Ye could use the go pro on the mag mount on the back of the trailer and check reversing distance using your phone as a camera to get implements tight together.

We just lift the trailers up just enough to let the water out the back and put a block or two under the drawbar to hold it there.

Tip them up a bit put block in doing it for past 10 years no problems with rams always wash them first and give them a light coat off diesel with a stone chip gun keeps them right for the winter you could also mix it with a bit off waste oil

We have a class 880 like yours and find it the same it always needs an arm or a hardy spicer or some dam thing doing to it and it’s a fairly expensive bit of kit to keep going
