Ga efisien karena setiap pohon harus dipanjat. Di Indonesia tandan sawit dipanen pakai egrek (mirip sabit dengan tangkai panjang), jadi dari bawah aja udah bisa manen.

Watch the NDDC probe and you have your answer. Oil money is easy money which is also easy to loot. In agriculture, you actually need a clear policy and you also need to put in the work to get the results.

Big plantations are not benefiting the environment either and strip the local population of land ownership and fertile land to grow food crops. The artisan palm oil producers should have been help by updating the traditional palm oil press they use to produce 3kg per day.
