FarmerTorque Harvest Collections - New Holland CR 10.90's play with wheat

Two of the latest New Holland CR 10.90 combines - both with 12 metre headers are caught here in dramatic light. A 10.90 holds the Guiness world record for cutting the most wheat in 8 hours - almost 800 tons.....Farmer offers his thoughts as to just how important combines are.

Beautiful video ... stunning work there Farmer. Have to agree with you about combines .... one of my earliest memories is of riding in a combine with one my dads friends when I was very very young, awesome experience and one I'll never forget.

Farmer, I can only say this is an absolutely stunning production, it is the kind of thing you come back to watch several times and just forget your troubles and get lost in it. Magnificent drone work (did you do that?) and superb editing with a great music score. Many, many congratulations on such a great video. BTW, on a different note, I see Total Triumph now sell a "FarmerTorque" version of the VH exhaust off the shelf. Think it even fits a little bit tighter than your first proto-type does. Satisfying to have made your contribution to motorcycle exhaust history!

I thank you Sir! Yes all my own work, starting to get used to the drones now, but have to say, great content to shoot helps. Photography was always a first love so feel happy there. The exhaust seems to work, doesn't it. very happy with the looks, sound and all of it really - changes the bike Soooo much. Very kind words. Cheers, Farmer

Fantastic mate! I'm an ex-pat from Dorset living in Australia and usually like to watch you navigating Devon roads on your MCs to remind myself of what it was like on the holidays of my childhood. This however takes me back to when I worked for a group of farms around Blandford where we lived in a farm cottage. I did their carpentry and building maintenance. Harvest has always had the element of exitement for any country lad or girl. I will share this with my farmer friends most now semi retired. I've never ridden in a combine, I think the ones we had only had a single seat anyway. Yes I agree excitement and emotion at harvest time. Still enjoy it even if it is only in my garden. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely hearing the reasons your watching. Harvest these days is often not quite as romantic as it may seem an area I may touch on in the future. For the moment its a privilege to be able to film and experience the amazing latest machinery. Cheers, Farmer

Excellent film. But how does one of those monsters fit any road in Devon?!

Ha! Not many of these in Devon! This pair live in Kent but they have narrow lanes as well. Interestingly, while the output of these has risen hugely over the last 20 years they aren't physically much bigger, the headers are another matter however - try pacing out 12 metres (very long strides) and look back just how wide it is ! Privilege to video them. Cheers, Farmer

🙂 we moved to Devon (just south of Tiverton) last year and one of the big grumbles of the locals is that the roads have stayed the same size but the tractors keep getting bigger! Love the tarmac trails; keep recognising bits of road.

Might sound strange Nigel, but I'm with you on the kit on the roads. The problem is some farmers have become huge and need to travel long distances - not ideal. Thanks for the Tarmac Trails appreciation - means a lot! Farmer
