And on the skid steer tires, we have the 2 rear tires going the opposite direction and that way I can get traction if I have to Dig myself out and Use the bucket to help with the push out and At first when we got the bobcat and the tires were all the same direction and was getting stuck and so we got some new tires and had the 2 back one's switched around and I can go about anywhere now......

Enjoy your day in the life vlogs but then I enjoy all our visits. I usually do my reading at night because I’m so distracted in the mornings knowing that I have a full day of stuff. At night I guess I know it’s down time and the words seems to stick better. Of course with all Hunnys current health issues I am talking to God all day otherwise I couldn’t handle what’s going on here at the Ulrich retirement cottage. Canning season seems to be starting to ramp up for a lot of us although my garden is a bit behind with all the cold weather, dry weather and then the downpours that just keep coming here in the middle of the mitten. Today being Sunday, the sun is shining and God has given us another beautiful day to enjoy. Blessings abound even during our rough times in life! It’s so nice to see MacKenzie embracing the art of building up a pantry from her gardens. Most young people her age are barely living a life outside of electronics. There certainly is hope for our younger generations! Love the farm life…never any time to be bored that’s for sure but then retirement doesn’t allow time for boredom either. Thanks for the visit and thanks as always for enlightening and entertaining me!!!:):):)

Busy! Busy! Busy! We got a little more glimpse of your new kitchen island. Looks pretty nice. We never had a dishwasher. My brothers and I would take turns washing and drying from time to time. It all depended on the workload outside. This video brought back memories of growing up on the farm. Milking the cows and doing chores, had to be done day after day after day, etc. Always loved the fruits of our labors from working in the garden. Also loved being able to make fresh ice cream any time we wanted to.

We had a garden years ago in New York and Green beans where the favorite. Canned maybe 50 quarts. We had a Maltese dog and whenever we said " green beans buddy" he went crazy

What a day in the lives of you all

You can say what you want but a work day on the farm is better than a work day in a shop. After 45 year's of working as a toolmaker I retired in 2015. I then realized I had a passion to be a farmer and that was my real calling in my life. Good team work everyone, God Bless everyone and stay safe. 👋

This is where you shine. Great video showing highlights as I'm sure there was more in that day.

Happy Sunday Ronda and family. This was an excellent video to post for those that might not realize what a day in the life of a farming family consist of. Many do not realize how many hours a day are put into this life style. It's not a 9-5 job, it's a daybreak to whenever it might end depending on what happens during the day or what season it might be. I have many days when I miss the craziness of the life. Also, would gladly trade some of the rainy days we have had here in New Hampshire for some sunshine. Farmers here are way behind on haying and crops are getting to the point of nutrients being any good for the hay crops.
