Headland management for tractors, field sprayers, mowers and harvesters.
With headland management, functions of vehicles can be combined and activated together at the touch of a button to simplify turning manoeuvres when working in the field. All functions can be activated and deactivated individually for each vehicle via a GUI to achieve ideal adaptation to the work being carried out.
The headland management system must be added once to the respective vehicle in the shop or in the workshop as a configuration before it can be used. The cost for this is 3000,-.
It can be activated and deactivated in the vehicle with Shift-X. Alternatively, different buttons for activation and deactivation can be configured. The GUI is called up by default with Shift+Ctrl+X.
Included functions:
- Reduce speed (cruise control) and raise again.
- Raise lowered implements and lower them again
- Turn plough, single-stage or two-stage (via centre position)
- Raise and change ridge markers
- Disengage and re-engage power take-off(s) and hydraulics
- Beep when headland management is activated
Additionally, if VCA Mod (FS19_VehicleControlAddon) is present:
- Deactivate and reactivate GPS track guidance
- Disengage and re-engage active differential locks
Additionally, if Guidance Steering Mod (FS19_guidanceSteering) is available:
- Deactivate and reactivate GPS guidance
Additionally for existing SpeedControl Mod (FS19_zzzSpeedControl):
- Speed adjustment also possible by changing the cruise control level
Ideas for subsequent versions:
- Sequence of work steps adjustable
- Selectable time interval between individual work steps

I played 17 far more than 19 for about the first 6 months after 19 released. Just giving the modders time to do their thing. I play 19 much more now but I still play 17 regularly & personally think it’s the best version of FS to date. There are some mods from 17 that I prefer much more as well. The GPS mod on 17 is infinitely better than the guidance steering mod on 19. To each their own tho. As long as we’re supporting Giants they’ll keep giving us great games to enjoy.

@@jamesbell2902 That's funny, I did the same with 17. I started with FS13 but by far the most hours were spent on FS17. Also agree FS17 was peak Farm Sim to me and I kept on playing it long after 19 came out. I will probably buy FS22 when it drops because 19 never hit me as hard as FS17 did but its going to suck in many ways without all the awesome mods and maps that are out now. Maybe I'll head back to FS17 until modders catch up with 22!

@@usernametaken5619 if you wanna do multiplayer farm on 17 to kill some time for the modders on 22 hit me up. Never done any MO on any of the FS games. The few times I tried I always ended up with people acting like asses.

FS19 was definitely a big improvement from FS17 and it still looks great. FS22 looks good but it's not really game-changing unless you're into playing around with your character. 😁I will of course buy FS22 and test it out, but I will keep playing mainly with FS19 for a few months until the fine modders out there come up with really great maps and other cool stuff.

Not sure if you will see this comment so long after, but I almost suggested you do a video on this for FS22 but decided to search youtube instead, and it gave me this one :) I am a little disappointed though, I was hoping I could set it to something like 12 meters, then it would lift at automatically at 12 meters in then drop after my turn 12 meters into the field, then I can come along and do the headlands at the end, and if I had a 6 meter wide implement I would have exactly 2 passes to make. I usually try to do this manually, but it usually ends up taking 3 passes to fill in the headlands but only the outer pass usually fully needs work done as I miss timing the raising and lowering right so it is all uneven, and the 3rd pass is just a few areas that I missed. I was hoping this would give a good clean line.

I cannot get the mod to work. I'm on an empty map with no other mods installed and I cannot get Shift X or Shift+Ctrl+X to work. Does not show up in my help menu. Any suggestions?

@@FarmerKlein You're absolutely right about that. I did not. I was thinking it was like autodrive where you didn't need to add it to the vehicle. That did the trick.
