7 жыл бұрынIn today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
We're going to do our last serious session of contracting today. Once we've earned the money for a new tractor and one more field there will be very few jobs that we go and do for anyone else! A bold statement, but sometimes these things have to be done. It's time to start concentrating on our own farm and making sure it's all running smoothly. But we do earn ourselves a new Deutz tractor today, as well as selling our first wool and making a good sale on some wheat. So our farm is starting to come together nicely!

it's simply amazing how much time you dedicate to these timelapse videos! They are great fun to watch, and I love the subtitles you throw into them. You do a marvelous job and I respect how little you move the camera around so it doesn't create a choppy video that makes people nauseous. Keep up the excellent work. You're awesome!

Thank you, glad you enjoy them so much. The camera angles are something I'm particularly careful about because as you say, too much movement can make you feel very nauseous!

hey there frithgar. Been watchign your vids since a year now. especially the timelapse series. gone through it at least 4 times now ^^. love the tidy playlists and good vids along with the realistic playstyle. What am i talking about i wanted to let you know that if you need a bigger plough in the future you can have it on the modhub site. Lemken dolomit 9 with 4 meter width. you can combine it with the lemken K800 and have a 8 meter plough that is NOT a salford :D. thought i could let you know that ^^

Glad to hear you enjoy them so much! I'll take a look at that one, I like the idea of getting an extension on a plough as well, seems like it would be a fun mod to use

but be advised. each 4 meter single plough needs 200hp. so both together on the k800 would need 400hp. so i would advise at least 450 hp to pull it properly ^^

I don't know how this music copyright thing works, I hurd a really great track today on my travels to and from work called San Holo - Light and would really like to hear it in a future time laps and think it would go well with it as it's the kind of music you use in these. give it a try man :)

Most songs are copyrighted and if I try to use them I can get a strike. I'll take a look, if it's a song that's been released copyright free, then I'll give it a go!

Mr. Frithgar I've noticed at the end pf every one of your farming vlogs you pick up eggs but never sell them. I was wondering how many eggs do you have tucked away and how you are keeping them good?

Not sure to be honest, I'll probably be selling what I've got very soon though. Eggs can normally keep for up to 6 weeks without too much trouble, and if you're wanting eggs for things like cold boiled eggs or to pickle them, eggs over a month old are best as they're much easier to shell.

Hello Frithgar, What I've been wondering a few episodes now, is why you are not using your 'home made' manure for fertilizing, but still use the chemical fertilizer bought at the store. Is the bought fertilizer better for the crops?

Rgeers01 as far as I know all the types of fertilizer have the same effect, but I could be wrong

You need a LOT of manure for fertilizing and unless you are producing a ton of it, buying the equipment for it wouldn't make sense. You'd probably be better off using the manure for doubling the income from a few greenhouses and just keep using store bought fertilizer in addition to the weeder.

There is no difference for the crops, it's cheaper to use the manure, but at present we don't really produce enough of it. You've also got the expense of buying the manure or slurry spreaders to factor into it as well. I will be using some in the future though, once we've got enough.

i found out that the cisle plow is a ripper it is used to ripp up the ground where the plov dont rech.

Yep, in real life it's used for going over the tramlines where the sprayers drove through the winter, or helping to break up a hard pan that can develop under the surface

A dairy farmer I worked with many years ago had a stantion barn and when he milked if a cow was lying down he would skip to the next one and come back later.

fyi we have deutz fahr in the states but none of em just called one sell a series 9 the closest you get is a series 8 and that is their biggest

I use the term Maize when referring to a crop I'm intending to turn into silage, then corn when it's going to be combined, or at least I try to. Mainly because that's the distinction between the two that is used in most countries. As for lorry/truck, you're right and I'm working on trying to remember that one!

I don't know if this is just me but I would really like to see how much profit you make from all the contracting and selling of everything. I know you already put tons of editing into this but would it be possible to magnifly your profits when you make them so I/ we can see them?

I try to mention it sometimes, but if I'm doing a lot of jobs then it would just spam the screen with numbers. You can watch the total money after each job to help a bit, but I'll also try to mention it more during sales of grain

You need to go to the animal area and stand inside the correct yellow and black box, you then press R and you'll be able to buy some
