FARMING SIMULATOR 25 | SNEAK PEEKS AT A NEW MAP?! IN-GAME FOOTAGE!!

U.S. Map, Riverbend Springs! Game By: GIANTS Software.
With the release of the pre FarmCon24 stream (3rd July), we have a lot more information, stunning visuals from in-game (WIP) footage! What does it look like? What can we see? How much improvement is there? What about GPS?

Please bear in mind that this is all work in progress footage!
For some reason, I could only get it to play smoothly at 720!
I was sent the footage by GIANTS ‘pre Wednesday stream’, with no commentary, so at the time of recording, I have no real context for the footage.

One of the big things for me here is the grass, it's lumpy! By that I mean in FS22 it's all basically a uniform height, one grass clump replicated ad nauseam, which could make it look quite unnatural at times. But here it seems to have a much better height profile, even on the areas that look mostly flat the grass has high spots and low spots, it's literally lumpy and clumpy and that makes it look a lot more natural to me!

I absolutely love how clumpy the grass is and it varies in length per clump. Gorgeous😊

When the tractor was going down the straight road it was showing reflections on the hood ( bonnet)

They did say the map has 70 fields/ farmlands. That's a lot for a standard giants map, because of all the stuff they have to put on it for the map to work properly with all productions etc..

The watchtower at the end makes me wonder if there’s similar missions to the emergency pack.

Good morning sir. Could you ask a question for me to giants dev. I’m sure all console creators would love to know. “Is there an option to shut off the hud and circle on console?” Mods were available on pc but never came to console. Love to see them listen to the console players. Love you videos. Your one of the reason I got into making content. Hope to work together soon. Big thanks

It would really be nice if they did away with the flat cardboard textures and make things look more 3D. I never could stand grain in the trailer that looks flat and cardboard like.

It's looking 10 times better than there last farm sim, it was very bad, graphics were terrible in last sim, thank god, its only going on this gen console...

All they focus on is visiuals, but the performance went to dog shit since 22, the first year it stuttered and froze way to often. And that is gonna happen again here, 30 fps gamers.

Looks the same as fs22 hopefully trees make real sound when falling hope there mud and rain bouncing off the ground, hopefully there’s actual live stock at the live stock dealer roaming around. Hopefully the AI is smarter. Tractor animation looks the same and sound .

It clearly is better than fs22 but it should be. Compared to most ps5 games, the graphics are no better than average

To me honestly, it looks like a modded current game with re-shade so I am disappointed and not impressed 😂

doesnt look any better than moded 22 , was hoping for major upgrade of the engine not so very minor one. Should have benn already like snowrunner ,this is just cash grab...

It was ok but definitely not stunning. The PS4 wouldn't struggle with those graphics. It's not much of an upgrade outside the fog.

Still has that annoying texture draw in a radius ahead of whatever you're driving. Never liked that. You look in the distance and a field looks cultivated, but then textures for the crop draw in as you get closer. Comical. Only new feature I would like is the ability to turn off pedestrians as we can traffic on console. They don't add to the immersion at all for me. Not when they walk right through my vehicle.😂

I'm curious of rice farming on a american map. We don't do rice exactly how other countries do it. We pull levees in fields to control water instead of just one big flooded square
