Those steam engines are really pieces of art. Beautiful.

Love old steam equipment. I have to say this was the first time I have seen them cultivate a field like this, usually the steam tractors I have watch are dragging the plow physically attached to the tractor.

What a much more relaxed way of life that must have been back then. Them engines have been nicely restored and the plough still doing a good job after how many decades? Thanks for posting this Tom....

Sometimes I wish I was born in the century of steam. I love hardware more than software. I mean, software is always gonna be more precise and it allows for things that are impossible to do with hardware only but this is just a joy to watch and hear.

Old these oldy worldy things always feel so much more ingeneous and creative than what we make and use these days. Computers and such are clearly very good inventions as well though, maybe because you can see all the bits doing their things here it feels different.

Hats off to everyone involved in putting these events on. A lot of effort but great to see and admire.

I love the idea that once upon a time a walk through the beautiful English countryside could be punctuated by the adorable tooting of chunky iron and brass.

The logistics of getting water / coal to engines must have been awesome in steam ploughing hay days

Brilliant video thank you Tom. Steam had to prove that it was quicker than horses. It was still hard work
