One of the things all farmers have to deal with is the weather. Sometimes it cooperates sometimes doesn't.

So glad to see you back. I was a little worried about you. You have inspired me in your past videos to follow my farming dream. Naturally I still have a day job, but thanks to your videos we planted about 5 acres of sweet corn down in southeast Louisiana and it’s doing great. About a month away from picking. We already have orders and as long as the good Lord blesses the crop the rest of the way we should turn a decent profit. I enjoy your videos. You do inspire a few of us to do what we love. Glad you’re back!

I have already gotten 4 Fields prepped fertilize & planted. I have recently just side dressed and laid by the first to cornfields. We have moved on to reclaiming some hay fields and replanting some hay fields. Good luck with your farming and crops this year may God bless you and your family.

Great to see you back!! I always enjoy your videos; you prove that it is possible to farm successfully on a small scale, even with a family and a full time off farm job. Good luck with your weather!! Ours has been a touch wet here as well (central Kentucky)

Great to see you back also! Farming definitely isn't a 9-5 job! many people do not realize how big a factor the weather is in times of planting and harvesting. Once it is planted you are correct in that you want it to rain and in times of harvest you want it to be drier or less humid. Deprivation of sleep in times of planting and harvest always occurs. Farming is sometimes 7 days a week depending on the weather. I do try to take Sundays off but it can't always happen. You just have to love the land and being outside knowing that you are making a little money for your efforts in the end and feeding the world! Appreciate you my man!

It's all about balance, Family,Full time job and Farming in that order, balancing all those is what makes a person strong and you sir are that strong, don't forget to take care of yourself because if you don't all three will fail, you're doing a great job, love you videos

Know your ground but I will also say know and breed your own seed. Get a bunch of good heirloom varieties and mix them together and save the best from the crosses year to year and have seed in 3rd or 4th year for your particular ground.
