That English composition in that encirclement. Wynguard footmen, elite MAA, crossbows, hand cannons, and then the King and some Knights. lovely stuff.

You know what's funny to me.. I mean okay let them have the footmen with even better stats.. but an OOTD Elite MAA costs 2 population. You can basically spam those footmen and have double the amount so there is no way it is winnable when it gets to that stage of the game.

Completely disagree on landskneckt...they're essential if enemy is making any significant melee mass. Totally broken

OOTD takes so much time to prep that, once they are ready, almost any other civ is gonna be better. Even English can have a better MAA than OOTD; even with the crazy investment OOTD needs to get it compared to building a landmark

kinda sad that english has a better MAA , cheaper and only 1 pop make it make sense. footmen should be better than the normal mma but not better than gilded without the downside of gilded
