No matter what people say It looks like wagonr, this front is not aggressive and old scoprio has feel. Its 2022 the Scorpio was old and definately needed this upgrade and mahindra did much better job in reviving the Legendary Brand Scorpio and alteast the retained this DNA with BOF and 4WD. For 20lakhs you are getting a real SUV, 7 seats , Refinement- Smoothness, modern features (tho some are missing) ,4WD, Proper SUV road presence. What more could one ask for that too from an Indian Manufacturer.

What do you mean not VFM? This is way better than spending shit ton of money on a Toyota Fortuner. Being a Scorpio i just know it's gonna be reliable and abuse friendly. Imo the best 20lakh rupee SUV right now in Indian market. Like the pricing helped it too. Everyone's gonna have something for them. From Creta to Compass segment, Mahindra has it all covered with this SUV

With cars like compass costing 35 lakhs and fortuner costing 50 lakhs. This Scorpio is hugely impressive with a Body ON Frame and 4WD capability. I know it doesn't look that aggressive and doesn't have a raw feel of older scorpio but for 20 lakhs in 2022 no other car is offering such features, 7 seats, 4WD, Strong power and BOF capability. Really thats impressive.

@cheese compass atleast comes with 4wd in some variants, and honestly harrier and safari feel underpowered to me, safari is quite dissapointing to me but in its segment, probably the best car

Earlier when XUV700 was launched it had all good features but many were crying that there's no 4WD and now scorpio is launched with 4WD,you want features too. Now mahindra gave you two choices,If you want Features, You've got XUV700 and if you want more offroading features, You've got scorpio-n.

The most awaited car and vlog! The Scorpio is now hugely impressive due to a ton of changes done to it mechanically, technology and ergonomically. I feel most people will go for the 2 wheel drive diesel manual as it fits best for most indian buyers. And kudos to Faisal sir for editing this vlog at night! Excellent work sir! ❤️💯

I think the most VFM variant is Z2. Just upgrade tyres to 18 inches nd get Scorpio N stock Alloy Wheels. Do some necessary Chrome on the exterior front nd also get a genuine Scorpio N rear spoiler. On the interior front buy Mahindra genuine seat covers for 11K or something. Nd voila ur good to go

Rwd is much quicker than fwd in theory, just look at the way scorpio have launched No wheel spin and moves very quickly from stand still. Only thing is it weighs quite a bit high that's why it might b felt slower than xuv.

Petrol motor is a boon for driving enthusiasts... Mileage for many turbo petrol motors including Creta, Kushaq 1.5, hector are in single digits only... Most cars third row is only good for short height people..even Fortuner has legs cramped when I sat in it....I also sat in XUV 700 immediately after driving Scorpion its feels to be low height and all white interiors...just paying money for two touch screens is not that wise....though its a good car, However, Scorpion is very value for money and a true SUV in herd of many sudo so called SUV's..boot space can be adjusted with a rooftop carrier.. So overall if you can afford it nothing can beat this beast...I will go with petrol as ill prefer driving pleasure and my daily commute is also very less...So go n buy Big daddy in petrol too..

Error in Speed for Alarms may be due to the fact that Mahindra is using different tire sizes, 255/60 R18 for AT & 245/65 R17 for MT. It seems they have not calibrated the speedometer according to different tire sizes.

Gotta say, Mahindra did a marvellous job with new Scorpio N but yeah, it lacks some features like auto dimming IRVM which is kinda disappointing and also expected to see some ADAS features in the car but nvm. Also, huge respect for making this 1 hour 12 minute video with such good editing, your reviews are always a delight to watch, just loved this vlog.

Mixed opinions on whether it is VFM or not, bro? Agree the fact that it misses out some quality levels .. I mean look at the thing roll during off roading .... So so smooth, Engine is so so so impressive!.... Yes definitely expensive.. Kudos to your hardwork!

As expected, Comprehensive AF and will be the cornerstone review for all future Scorpio N buyers. Very well pointed out that this isn’t a VFM proposition and the Scorpio stills needs some better equipment to take on the Fortuner.

For the price of single Fortuner, you can buy a Scorpio, A hatchback and also An EV and still be left with some money in the bank Lmao. That's how much overpriced Fortuner is. No doubt Scorpio is more value for money except for that it doesn't have status symbol of Fortuner.

@@abagent4767 Shelling out 20 lakhs more just for reliability is stupidity. Scorpio is extremely reliable too. And about build quality and safety no doubt it will score 5 stars. I don't understand how Fortuner is any better than this car considering it costs freaking 20 lakhs more than Scorpio.

Mahindra is busy copying Volvo (Rear portion) in case of Scorpio and Mercedes’s floating screen design and powered seat adjustment panel on the door. Thankfully its making decent looking cars now. There a lot of scope of improvement though.

@Faisal looks are subjective. This does not look like nuvo sport from the side. Nor like brezza on the front. Yes, the tail does look like volvo, but again they are subjective. A lot must have gone in to the design, you just cannot call it cut copy paste.

All's cool, I have my personal take on this scorpio about what I should have done if I was the head designer. This one certainly looks weird after the rear wheels from side profile, this just need to be extended a bit in the rear. And the front isn't aggressive enough. Especially if only the drls were positioned within the headlights, huge visual change could have been observed. Nonetheless, the 3rd row plastic build needs to be improved and ac vents are must. Also XUV 700 should get ventilated seats and auto dimming irvm now already, also this scorpio too

About aggressive front : I think was Pratap Bose was key in designing this car, I once messaged him on Insta when he was part of Tata Motors and Altroz was about to be launched...He said 'We are not about aggression'...I think he's carrying the same thought process in Mahindra

@@Tobi-dx8oj I get it, but honestly it doesn't look attractive enough. Xuv700's front fascia is somewhat aggressive, in a more mascular 4x4 vehicle we would hope for such aggressive front design. I don't know what they think while designing but don't those designers and heads getting paid so much money get brezza vibes from the front? They could have retained the old scorpio's characteristics in a way better manner both from behind and front, heck even I can design a more attractive car. Look at the Mahindra logo as well. They hired Bose, they bought pininfarina, they want to go global and have a design headquarters at UK and come up with this logo which looks like somewhat like a lingerie. Look at the Yamaha Mt series' logo. Don't really understand what's happening in the designing sector of both Mahindra and bmw

But scorpio's front fascia is really underwhelming sorry to say. From distance you get tuv vibes. Heck even bolero neo looks better from front imo

I miss the space available in Xylo especially in 3rd raw. Mahindra hasn't been able to create the same space in any car afterwards.

They should've retained the same tune of the 2.2L mHawk Diesel Automatic, as it is in the XUV 7OO- 185HP & 450Nms rather than decreasing it by 10HP and 50Nms. Again, ventilated seats is a big miss. No auto dimming IRVM🤦🏻♂ No 360° camera for such a big, massive fat ass car is a big miss! Blind Spot Monitoring Cameras?! Rear profile could've been made a bit more appealing and macho-ish...it's kinda polarizing. No sliding function for the 2nd row! Other than these, it's a big leap in terms of driving dynamics, features and almost everything else!
