Then and now I wonder why celebrities bother getting married. They never last and by the time they reach # three they should just call it a day and save their money and realize they aren't cutout for it.

TMofH, A fascinating look at Celebrity Marriages back in The 20th Century. When Celebrity meant something more than Social Media & The Kardashian's and Jenner's. By the way you forgot Jackie and Ari Onassis also Gable and Lombard. Not Good! RCJ/LEO

Definitely some "lavender" marriages in this group, two of them being Judy's. Mark Herron was her fourth husband.

Judy was married a total of 5 times, David Rose in 1941, Vincente Minnelli in 1945, Micheal Sidney Luft in 1952, Mark Herron in 1965, and Micheal DeVinko aka Mickey Deans in 1969.

Ginger Rogers and Lew Ayres - forgot about that one. The beautiful Queen Soraya' divorced because she couldn't have children as I recall. Didn't do any good because outsiders caused the Shah to lose his throne and Khomeini became ruler.

For sure the Rock Hudson "marriage" was a laugher. It was already known among the Hollywood In Crowd that he was light in the loafers, and that Tab Hunter and he were banging it up at a Hollywood Boulevard Hideaway. The nuptials were a studio front piece. I doubt he ever spent a night in bed with her. And I bet she was very well compensated for her non-performance. CASH PLEASE! And this Hollywood crowd is either Dumb as Sand, or they believe in the romantic pap they slap across the screens....three, four, five marriages and more. Each one should be assigned a marriage nanny by the studios. Three strikes and your out of the game. More is Bad for Business!

No captions at first , as I am not sure about who some of the couples are, but then the captions came on so I could then recognise the people after having seen them in films(movies) over the years as I was only born in 1945.....😀 Ah the beautiful Brigitte Bardot and the others could wear a bin bag back in the 50's and 60's and still look gorgeous that what we have now, that that horse faced kimbo the bimbo clan of kartrashycans and jenners.with brucie the 'Glamor woman of the year' winner named, caitlyn 'mommy'.......*sigh*....🤣 There seems to be a lot of brides and husbands and weddings got through in these pictures back then......

@@boredweegie553 Yes, she was born in Portugal, but grew up in Brazil. She was more Brazilian than Portuguese, really. Being from Brazil myself, the two cultures are so similar. Listen to her speak in a video sometime....she didn't even have the Portuguese accent. Her speech was totally Brazilian. And yes, there is a difference. :)

You need help with captions! They are repetitive, entirely too long, and all we really need are the names, the year. You don't have to tell us who it is, twice! Do Better ! Then I will subscribe!

Marilyn. Monroe I wish she did not get married. It ruined her career and stardom. Her potential was dulled. Trying to control her, they only caused confusion.
