Compared to Yeat, who was acting like his age, now it makes sense as to why he blew up. All the BULLSHIT Slayworld chose to do with all the allegations, EVEN IF THEY WERENT TRUE, ruined their image. It’s why Ameer was kicked outta Brockhampton. Because if one domino falls, all of em do. And that’s something yeat saw and acted accordingly. I think it's a combination of many things. Their combined allegations/ weird behavior, their voices not really being the greatest overall, and the sound they created got so saturated that it was hard for anyone doing Pluggnb to really make waves outside of the underground. It's fire and I personally like all their music, but the sound got outplayed fast and Rage quickly overtook it in terms of intrigue and popularity. We're seeing more mainstream artist like Lil Tecca adapt the sound into a more mainstream capacity, and we're also seeing Rage kind of fall off, so maybe it'll catch on more in the future, but for rn it seems like their desire to remain underground (like Summrs declining XXL), their lack of willingness to work with mainstream artist (whether its by choice or not), and their reputations will keep it low key for years to come as well as all of them as a whole. (Again, I love Pluggnb and think they are all fire)
