How to style the fashion trends for Summer 2022 in real life, hopefully this video should help:) You don't always have to go as extreme and extravagant as we see on the runway, there's often a way you can subtly add a nod to the trends within your everyday outfit ideas. I would love to hear which is your favourite outfit idea and which of the trends you've found easy to interpret so far this Spring Summer? Stripes are always on trend. They are a classic! Love the white jeans. I lost 8kg recently and my jeans are too big but maybe if I belt them I will be able to wear them still.

Loved your video. I really like the all one color outfits. As far as the baggy or fitted blazer we all have to remember that the fashion industry makes money when we buy things therefore they change from season to season the different styles. So I would say like you do ,wear what makes you feel classy and that you like. In a few seasons the more fitted jacket will be back.

I don’t tend to do them all but it’s nice when you find the odd one you love along the way. And like you say, the carousel of fashion will be bringing back your favourites in no time x

Thank you for this video - it is by far the best Summer wearable trends video I have seen. I always appreciate how you stress shopping your own closet and considering how long a piece will last in one's wardrobe. I have pieces, especially classic blazers that I have owned and worn for over a decade. I love the white/beige look and adding blazers in any style that suits one's body and taste. Thank you!

Great tips Jess particularly sizing up on jeans ..as ive got older my hips are still size 8 but my waist is 2 sizes bigger now !!! And ive had to adjust all my jeans a real pain ! But the slouchy jean look would be great so its size 12 jeans for me . my fav look was the one you were wearing , clean , crisp and casual smart . lovely . thankyou again for great content and inspiring looks 🌸

A great video thanks, most of the trends you chose are quite timeless especially stripes which I love. I’m not a baggy jeans fan, they just don’t suit me so I’ve opted for a higher waisted easier fit Jean that just tips a wink to it. Got them is sand and off white so they should be super versatile too. The off white ones I can put with other white/ off white tops for the all white trend. Definitely won’t be having any cut outs near my menopausal waistline! So going to gig out my cold shoulder tops again as they’re just another version of a cut out surely? Oversized blazers don’t suit me either so have a couple of slightly more fitted blazer style jackets that will top off the new jeans well. And I’m a dopamine dresser so I wear lots of rich colours and looking forward to dressing the rainbow!

Morning Jess, just love my Sundays with my coffee and you, telling me (because I think you're my personal fashion guru 🤣) what I need to look out for in the fashion world. In the last 7 months I have decided to let my silver/grey come through and ditch the dye. With this comes different tones of colours in clothes that I need to adjust to. The whites and navy are becoming favourites of mine. Ofc black is always in the equation but not so much in the summer. Todays favourite for me (because everything on you is fabulous) is definately that navy blazer look, your white jeans gave me tons of ideas and that stunning white dress. All in all everything is a domino affect that leads to getting it right. I check things in the mirror now and see if it looks ok. I trained my eye with watching you what is best with what etc... When I'm stuck I usually go back to a video of yours that is related. So...that's why you're MY personal guru (in my dreams lol) Thanks again gorgeous for a great video!! Have a lovely Sunday xxx

I love white on white, stripes, relaxed jeans ....... This is a good season for me to buy some pieces I really like. I am not crazy about over sized blazer though ....... I have very much taken your advise and always try to get the best fabric and style that I can afford. I have to be more patient that way but I think it's worth it. Very stylish - all outfits. Difficult to say any one is my favourite. You do it so well. Love the slouchy look and hope it stays on trend for a long time although people can wear what they like and suit best these days. There is so much variety and choice.

Hi Jess. I really love the light tones of whites,beiges,creams and ecru and,to be honest, the bright colours of this season are not tones that I’m drawn to at all.I totally agree that blazers are fantastic and can turn a fairly ordinary outfit into something so much more chic. I’m not very fond of the ‘Little House on the Prairie ‘ look either and personally,prefer simpler,slightly androgynous pieces.I love so many of your outfits and you always provide so much inspiration.💖🌸

Your tops and bottoms I have a lot of pieces you're featuring in this video, as You mention we pick choices to style, I'm Open for diferente choices, and I love street style. Currently I'm 49 years, and un My early days I had styled grunch, rock, and for now on I pick for Spring and summer a bohemian styled a very relaxed emboirement for the weather and also I love styling white and neutral garments 🤟✌️❤️

Love your video! Always informative and graceful❤️ Same here; spending hours of watching fashion shows. 6:20 favorite outfit; polished but relaxed shades. 10:30 had just put on a very similar outfit yesterday 😆 12:02 Already own an almost identical suede jacket from Mango :) Really enjoy watching someone wearing color on color. It somehow gives me the feeling that this is a happy person. This summer I also enjoy watching people go for head to toe all white with a some touch of neutral tone or bold bright colors.

Stunning beautifully blended all the outfits are stunning in their simplicity. Every time I whach you on Sunday, you have me do a 1-80 and I start reorganise my wardrobe for the week for work 😅 I am very girly girl in my taste I love those little touches especially on blouses dresses those subtle cuffs that ar 3-4inchs deep or that shear fabric with a hint of embroidery pintucs I could go on🤣😂your calm delivery always encouraging always insightful I had purchased recently 💞tailored trousers and I thought what else can I purchase to wear with it until I remember that I have a few shirts that have two colours 💞🧡that I put together giving a slight nod to 70s when I wore to work last week I received so meny compliments as I had the orange 🍊 in low pointed slingback shoe's and a cardigan in the orange with blouse pulling it altogether with the tailored trousers to top it of the sun 🌞 was shining something so simple can just make you feel so put together my main colours for spring summer right up into the autumn is orange khaki and shades of pink to add that pop of colour to my neutral colours I love white in the summer months it automatically make you feel cool and I am definitely embracing the white on white. I am looking forward to summer an thank you for your insight and inspiration be blessed always its always a pleasure to see you on Sunday 💞🧡💞🙏🏼🤗

Great video, Jess, but I’m afraid after all these years on the planet I don’t know what style I naturally gravitate to. My Mom had all of her clothes bespoke made because her mother was a designer and seamstress. She was so ashamed because all of the other girls in school and college wore the same off the rack clothes. Weird, right? Anyway, In Colorado I wore denim and button down shirts (I was a rider for hire for women with too many horses) and classic dresses for the symphony and opera. When DH forced us to move to 100 degree F Florida, I went with vintage printed Hawaiian sheaths and new Lily Pulitzer dresses. It’s just more comfy and stylish looking wearing dresses when everyone else is wearing tees and cut offs. I think one can never be too over dressed. Believe me no one wants to se me in shorts anymore! Except at night when we walk the pups. So I’m still looking for the real me. I love minimalist and maximalist clothes, one color from top to toes, stripes and florals (though I’m picky that the floral must be medium in size or it’s just too Little house on the Prairie)! I even had a biker jacket obsession for a while. It was great to throw over anything. Basically, I go with whatever is well made or makes me feel beautiful. Just going with what strikes my fancy now but still trying to make my closet look cohesive. Wish me luck! Hugs! 🚀🌴😎

Hi Jess, Since I watch your video’s my wardrobe has changed 😀 I bought more neutrals, blazers and a couple of striped tops (brand: Red Button, very good quality). I also found a satin light colored midi skirt. I’m really happy with these new clothes. The clothes I love in your last video are the white jeans, white T-shirt and blouse/coat. I also like the bikerjacket and of course the striped shirt. Unfortunately the oversized look is not good on me. I’m only 5,3 fit 😕 I feel like a child wearing the clothes of a bigger sister! Hello Jess, I love your style and the way you match your clothes and bags/shoes/belts. It is something that cannot be learned 🙂 White on white is super classy. I used to wear white clothes, but now having a small child it's not very practical. I have a question though concerning summer clothes: would you still wear shorts to complete your holidays/beach style? I was looking at Sezane, but being over 40, sort of hesitate 🙃

Hi Jess, I really love the stripes look: the white Birkenstock Arizona sandals are super (col.stone - original colour name from the brand, but it looks like more khaki actually - would suit as well, wouldn't they?) For S/S collection they come in gorgeous suede options too, I can't resist, but I think I will go for Gizeh style instead. The biker chic is my second pick for today's video and the golden sandals are the perfect touch, Jess' touch definitely! Have a lovely week 💙!

Hi Jess, I love your styling tips and bubbly personality - such a pleasure to watch. I love my oveR sized jeans, unfortunately my partner tells me every time I wear them that “ they do me no favours”. I still wear them though, I think they look great and as women we don’t always want to wear clothing that is skin tight- like you I like the relaxed easy put together Parisian vibe.

Gail, I have the almost same story. I like relaxed jeans, not super baggie, but over sized. But every time I wear it, my husband always says: You have a nice figure. Why would you want to wear something doesn't show your figure. I don't like skin tight clothes in general.

These styles look lovely on you! I was thinking about bringing my white jeans to wear in our summer 22 trip to the UK, but when we used to live there in the late 90’s I never saw Brits wearing white jeans. Has that changed?? I didn’t want to look too out of place!

I’m one of those who hates oversized blazers. I’m petite and have narrow shoulders and hips, they just look ridiculous on me. Plus, I like a somewhat fitted waist, to give me some more waist definition. I like the long, but more fitted ones I’ve started seeing. My favorite trend is the all-white outfit, I always loved that. I think it looks great on everyone, but it brightens up the face.

I remember you saying that Kimberly:) Though you're not alone, I think a lot of women feel the same. I think the catwalk loves that looks so much because it's very androgynous, clothes hanging off models etc. But it doesn't always translate the best to the high street I know:/ I do like it, but perhaps I go for quite a subtle take, well subtle compared to some Instagrammers I've seen! I also found this brand Freedom Moses recently which are similar but come in all these fab colours and prints, I might try those this season too. About a third of the price! Good morning Jess. Hope you are well. Lovely ideas. Not really a baggy girl myself, but I recently bought some black faux leather cropped trousers which are flared while still be fitted at the waist and I love them. I would like something similar in black viscose for work trousers. I do prefer a fitted top but I'm sizing up one size to get a slightly more relaxed fit- I don't suit boxy. I love the overshirt you are wearing in your main outfit. Do Breton stripes ever go out of fashion ? I love them ☺️. X

Loved the focus on using what we already own in today's video. I think we need to focus more on that rather than always assuming we need to buy new. Really hard to choose a favourite look as I loved so many - but the oversized white slouchy jeans looked great. One question - tailored trousers are always shown super long and pooling over shoes onto the floor; they look great like that - but super impractical for actually wandering along the street. How do you get around that issue?

Thanks Kate, I'm glad you enjoyed it:) I know I often forget about some of the lovely pieces I have in my wardrobe and sometimes it's just about having a play with the styling in a new way that makes the feel new again. Re the long trousers, I must admit I'm guilty of leaving them like as much like that that I can get away with. I love that pooling over my shoes. I tend to take them up just enough so they're mm off the floor. They do end up getting scuffed a little quicker but I can't resist the look. Hi Maria, I might be the odd one out saying this but I actually have a soft spot for those gathers that come from sizing up! I tend to shimmy then around so the majority are sitting at my centre back (rather than hips etc) And if they’re really baggy leave a couple of ‘pleats’ as such at the front. Hopefully that makes sense? It’s hard to explain but essentially I like the look😘 x
