Hi Grace, Thank you for sharing your story. I am contemplating making a purchase from Fashionphile; I know there is always a chance in being disappointed with the purchase of a preloved item, but the same can be said about purchasing new items from retailers. I just don't know if I have the patience to go through what you had to endure! My main concern is with the condition of the item and also with the authenticity of luxury goods. It seems as though it has become much easier to replicate handbags, etc. these days, so either way, I have to decide if I want to take the chance. I am looking forward to your future videos! Hi Ginny! Yes, it's definitely risky and I'm becoming more pickier these days. Unless I really really love the item and it's not available in other places, then maybe I'll take the risk. But yeah, my regret is that I didn't dispute the credit card charge, which would've solved the issue much faster. If that ever happens again, I'm gonna make sure to dispute the charge right away. But anyway, thanks for commenting! Hope to see you in the next video ❤

Whenever i buy in fashionphile online, I always choose to pick up the goods in their store. When it arrived in their store, they emailed u. It's safer to secure the item if u pick it in their office/store.

That's a good tip, that's probably what I'll do from now on. I just wonder what other people have to do if they don't live near the store since they only have 2 locations in the US...

I wonder how many of those designer items end up stolen from the warehouse and replaced with fakes or not replaced at all. I would love to know what happened to your boy bag. Sorry it took over 2 months to get your money back.

I wonder the same thing too! 'Cause my item is "lost" immediately after it arrived at the UPS facility. I wonder if there are workers there that know this is a high ticket item or something? This also seems like a common thing. Which is scary :(

That's a great question! And no, I don't think I would've sold it to FP if I knew what I know now. I would rather sell it on ebay or somewhere else where I can get a better offer because their offer wasn't that good if I really think about it 😢

I must really got unlucky 'cause that was the first time I tried Fashionphile and that happened to me :( What was your experience with the Real Real by the way?

@@gracelovesleather I think so, but yours was also a more complex transaction! I try not to order anything I can’t return. I ordered a cashmere shrug from TRR, and after it arrived it erupted in moth holes. It must’ve had eggs when it arrived 😒 I had to trash it
