I throughly enjoy your videos. What makes yours stand out from most If not all is that you go slow and don't rush through the individual steps. Your audio speaking parts I can actually hear. Some of the other videos on here you have to strain to listen because they talk too softly or don't know how to control their volume or are too far away from the microphone. And lastly what I like about your videos is, they aren't filled with obnoxiously distracting, loud music! There are very good videos from other artists on youtube but I can't or won't watch them for one or more, or all of those reasons. Some videos say they are "tutorials" when in fact it's just people blasting through a drawing and never saying a word. What's frustrating for me is that I'm just starting this program and am excited to see the potential it has for what I want to use it for. Spicificly I want to turn my photographs into paintings. Now perhaps you can help? Do you know of any guide books for sketchbook? How-to reference books in printerd from ? I learn better if I can actually see and read instructions and be able to refer to them. I've searched the internet and can't seem to find anything in print. Have you ever considered doing a printerd, downloadable guide for each of your videos? Or just an instruction sheet? Personally I would pay for something like that. You could sell them to download individually for say a dollar each,or in chapter form and not only the "how-to's" for an individual video you've done, but even on the tools and what they are for and how to use them. Apologies for being so long winded but I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy watching your videos. If you ever decide to do instructional printable downloads that could be put in a binder for reference, I'd gladly be your first customer!!! Thank you 👍

Hi Actually, I haven't responded to comments for a long time because my private life is very eventful. But I have to answer such a nice message/question! Thank you for your compliment it means a lot to me! I get a lot of praise and recognition... thanks to you and thanks to everyone else! Because of your question: I myself have often thought about this concept! Turn photos into paintings! There are apps for that! But I think it works best with Photoshop! But I tried it for you on Autodesk Sketchbook for androit! I took a picture of my dog and processed it with the Smudge Web Brusch! It turned out better than expected! I made a video for you...check it out: drive.google.com/file/d/1stZchatpvjqqCH2lTs_jPRdn_aRzZvSO/view?usp=drivesdk

Oh my God! I'm sorry ... only now I got your question right! You wanted to ask if there is a written manual for Autodesk Sketchbook a written explanation for tools and such! Or? Sorry! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about it either...I taught myself everything...when it comes to digital drawing! But I understand you very well...a printed manual would be great! Maybe I'll do a detailed guide in the future! I dont ask for money! Sorry! And I'm sorry I misunderstood your question! 😄😅

@@Bilder_Rausch Yes, that's what I want to do. I know I'll never be a painter like my father or his grandfather. But I have been an "amateur photographer" all my life. I literally grew up with a camera in my hands because of my father's mother ( my grandmother ) and my father. Growing up as a kid, my father painted and all the time as well as took photos. We had a little room in the basement of our house where my father would develop his own film. I also had 2 older brothers who were both in the photography club in school. As a kids we grew up making "pin whole" cameras out of oatmeal cereal boxes. My first real camera was a " box" camera. I also had a younger sister who was gifted when it came to "cartooning". I could go on and on but I won't! LoL. Digital art is all new to me and I love seeing what people like you are doing with it and want to get to your level. Because I'm not "tech savvy" it's frustrating to me. This is why I reached out to you with my comment. You teach very commmonsesely and in an easy manor that's understandable. That brings me to my comments about you possibly offering written instructions. I've searched high and low and cannot find any written instructions for this program. I can understand and appreciate what it takes to do your youtube channel and the time it takes and I commend you for all your efforts. It's time consuming and then turns into a full-time job, which understandable takes the fun out of it. If you ever do have the opportunity to or decide to do something in a written fashion I'd be more than happy to assist in any way I could. Thank you very much for responding to me, that means a lot to me. I've subscribed to your videos and look forward to watching them ALL!👍

@@rolfhogfeldt7645 Hello, once again I am overwhelmed by your comment. And I think our exchange here is becoming a kind of pen pal Doesn't matter. What I want to say/write: I myself was an amateur photographer. And I know my way around cameras and their properties. So I am very impressed that you are familiar with box cameras. I've been experimenting with it myself! I mounted a box directly on the sensor in front of my SLR camera and captured light through a needle opening. A picture came out. Something like that is very fascinating. And your father was an artist... what kind of pictures did he paint? Something else: Please don't compare yourself to others or to your family... do your own thing. Perhaps other things will make you a greater artist than your father or others! The digital art is beautiful but lacks charm. I used to paint with Akrul and there was something real about it. You are much more concerned with what you want to portray. There's something magical about it. Even if that sounds stupid and cheesy... but there is something real behind it! Unfortunately, I'm not interested in writing anything about Autodesk Sketchbook! I'm more interested in writing my own book... and I'm on my way to it! My wife is 8 months pregnant and when the baby is here I want to write. Even if the BilderRausch channel is there and I'm still interested in continuing it. I would also like to seek and perceive new horizons. You are very interesting to me. I want to know more about you. I would also like to see your photographic works. We stay in contact! I have a video where I showed my photos as a hobby photographer. @@Bilder_Rausch Good morning. First let me say CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are well on your way to your finest creation yet..., a child ! I do believe there will be some new and exciting portraits on the way along with a book of life as you enter this next chapter of the yet to be known. The book is already inside you and you'll be writing it without even knowing it. Yes, I guess we will be pen-pals of sorts which is fine by me. When I read those words "pen-pals" in your last message it brought back memories of a time when people actually took the time to write to each other on a simple thing like a piece of paper and send it to another. My father was born in Denmark and my mother was first generation Italian in this country. I remember as a young kid waiting for the special "airmail" letters to arrive from distance relative's and family friend's and "catching up" on what was new with them, even though sometimes the letters were weeks and even months old! Getting those letters was a treat and we looked forward to them as well as responding to them. Personally for me, the contents of the letters weren't as fascinating as imagining the distance and journey they took to get here! Well enough about that. I watched the video clip of your photos. What struck me was how similar you and I "see" the world through a viewfinder. I'm not patting myself on the back when I say that..., but it's very rare to view someone else photos and immediately "get it", rather than just look at it and enjoy it. I don't know if that makes sense to you. What I'm trying to say is that when I take a photo I don't take the path most traveled so the person looking at it understands it. I go through a different door and open it from a different angle. Truth be told, I don't take photos for others enjoyment, I take them for my own. If they do enjoy it, even better! I'm getting long winded again and off track, sorry about that. What I like about your photos is that they invite you in and then I decide where I want to go once inside it with my imagination. It's like being a kid in a candy store and with wide eyes and wanting to taste everything. I'm going to get some of my work to show you. I don't know if I can send them through these messages. If you want, I'll send you my email address this way you could respond and wouldn't have to give out yours here and have others contact you? Then we can chat more if you'd like and it be shown here publicly. Thanks for your kind response and CONGRATULATIONS again 👍😎
