exactly ! while the italian focuses on the intagibles, such as image, emotions and passion, the german gets caught up in technicalities jabber and drivel, Mr. Callaway is on point with his clear cut statements and makes it all accessible to the viewer and public. kind of like a reflection of the products, who can own a ferrari, not too many, people, and who wants a porsche, well, a certain demographic, but the Corvette is the go to super/sports car that can do it all while being attainable and reliable.

Exactly. All cars can be made to be fast. The fun lies in picking the car that is best suited for yourself. And modifying it the way that you want to. It's healthy to have muscle/sport cars from all of the car manufacturers. It keeps the car companies striving to be better, to keep up with the competition. And that benefits us, the consumer. So someone may not one or the other. But we need all of them around..

The part 36:54 is priceless: "The rear spoiler is not just for show. It develops enough down-force that at 320 kph, if the road were turned upside-down, the car would still stick. " Something to keep in mind when you see a spoiler that is for show.

@shananagans58 жыл бұрын
+Joakim Reck Depends on where you live. If you are close to a track, that would be ideal. Parts of the US have long stretches of highway with very little traffic. I used to drive across Texas & New Mexico on a regular basis & I could drive 20 or 30 mins without seeing another car. Not the smartest thing to do but you can ring a car out with nobody else around. No doubt Australia probably also has some open roads where you can run up to high speeds without putting other drivers at risk. lol Of course, if you crash, it could be a hour before anyone else drives by.

I am pleased to say that during this mostly unremarkable life of mine(likely in its last quarter)..I travelled at 310kms/hr(and did it often) on my slightly modified Honda Blackbird 1100XX making approx 170hp; costing when new $12,000 (Canadian)This machine was so reliable(and stable at high speed) that it bordered on"boring" I sold it last year ; as it was sitting in my garage for the past 12 months....and this wasnt fair to the bike. So...you dont have to spend "tons" of money to go fast...you just have to have the ability and the "balls" to do it on two wheels

yea with better center of gravity especially with the Mid-Rear engine platforms such as Cayman, This also makes them very lightweight since theres less drivetrain necessary which also results in less drivetrain power loss. A VW Golf R weighs 1496kg while the Mid-Rear engine Porsche Cayman is 1310kg with a larger engine. So think about this If by souped up you mean, 200kg lighter, Better weight distribution and larger displacement engine, Then yes. A Lamborghini is technically a souped up Audi since Audi owns lambo, and VW owns Audi. Basically. Its all German Engineering now :)

Best or favourite car of the 3 in the video has to be the Porsche Callaway Corvette is okay as a muscle car As for the ferrari it was a good car but so overrated Porsche took the engineering side Callaway was just typical American muscle and the ferrari was about trying to make a F1 car with 2 seats for the road i think that with the F50 they slightly failed I may get some stick for this but the F40 was a better ferrari Also to use everyday then the Porsche is the best car
