Anyone else not do nails but LOVE watching Suzie's videos because they are so calming and therapetic? I always watch Suzie's videos before bed because I find it calming and also Suzie seems so kind and nice 😄

Hey Suzie try putting silver chrome powder on first then the alcohol inks. Should give u a beatle wing metallic look. I use it on polymer clay for my jewelry.

I love Kiara Sky's gelly nails. They don't lose their coffin shape as quickly as others I've tried. Their nail lamp is perfect for doing nails on your own. If you push the lamp button twice it's 45 secs instead of the 60 secs with one push

The only problem I find is air bubbles in the clear nails and even the colored ones, then you have no choice but to polish or put a design on. Good luck!

How do I ask you which size did you purchase? They have a medium set an a long set. Also, did you put the builder gel on your nail only or did you do it on the whole form? Your nails seem long they look beautiful!

Protip: if you have an existing lamp, just use the KS mini lamp for an initial 10sec/flash cure, do all your fingers that way, then use your dome light to cure whole hand at once for the remaining 30-60sec. Saves a few min and no wiggling each finger one at a time :)

I’m glad you mentioned flat nails needing more builder gel! My nails are flat; I find I have to go up one size of nail and then file down the sides to fit, that way they’re flatter. I then need more builder gel than normal, if I use just a bit the nails always pop off after a day or two. Otherwise I just love full cover gel nails, they’re amazing and so versatile 😻 love your channel Suzie ❤️

Hi Riya, this is exactly why i do this channel💜. So some people have thinner nail beds than others - i personally do. After you apply the gel place the hand just outside of the ‘on’ lamp for a few seconds like 3-5 then slower move the hand ( take 10 secs ) and slowly move toward the inside of lamp. That should do it- if it still burns move slower

Thanks to Suzie, I've been using DIY gelly tips, and I love them. Fillable, and they last a long as acrylics on me--I'm hard on my hands. Some of my fingers have very flat nail beds, so this gets s little tricky, and it can be hard to get them on straight. Still, these are quite forgiving if you have to disassemble a partially-cured tip and start over.

I have just done this on myself in reds and pinks - and silver inks - it looks really pretty. I used to get my nails done but now the Covid has hit I won't be going back and have been trying to learn how to do it myself. Thank you for all your little tips and tricks

Those are beautiful! I know some other people I've watched will put a matte top coat on the white base to save the step of buffing the shiny top coat!
