Using popular TV shows to learn English is so effective. With Rachels English in the past 2 years, I improved a lot in speaking and listening, even my coworkers told me that there are no longer strong accents when I talk. 7:38 - I am from Nebraska, and I like to think I have no accent. When I was 18 I met a person from West Virginia, and he told me that my accent consisted of dropping the T from “What”, and similar instances. He was right!

This is the 2nd video I watch for you. I do understand almost all of what they have said, but I don't speak the way they do. Because of the way they speak, I sometimes miss some words that I knew. I would suggest that you keep explaining the pronunciation of English words the way you are doing in this video. Thanks for this excellent video.

I’m from Nebraska, in the middle of the US, and “hey” Usually means you want to ask somebody something. Then I moved to the south east US, to Atlanta Georgia. Here "hey” is the same as “hi” or “hello”.
