@TaterAFK
@TaterAFK 5 жыл бұрын
Wow tough question! They can be used in the exact same way when you are making a guess based on evidence... "I assume so"/"I suppose so"... In both situations you are not certain or fully confident. One key difference is when you are supposed to do something, as in you are required to do something because of the position one is in or an agreement one has made. "I'm supposed to be meeting someone at the airport"

I have a question. How different between voyage and passage
@TaterAFK
@TaterAFK 5 жыл бұрын
Voyage is the journey or adventure for a boat or ship, example "The Titanic sunk on it's first voyage". A passage is a narrow path between two large objects, like a path between two mountains or two large rocks. for example "The boat sailed through the passage". It can also be shortened to a pass like "We must take a voyage through the mountain pass" A passage can also be a section from a book.

when you don't have money to buy something you just say i don't have money but many people use i don't got any money. why they say this i don't understand. could anyone help
@danielduarte6802
@danielduarte6802 4 жыл бұрын
Are you asking because of the "don't got" there? That's just the way they speak, it's part of their dialect. It's considered grammatically incorrect for Standard English, but people would still say it in informal situations and it's ok as long as you're aware when and where you should not use it. Same thing with double negatives; I sometimes hear "I ain't got no money"
