Sum up Bardwells video: turn on radio tx, and power receiver, connect, select packet rate you want to be at, switch to a different packet rate, go back to the desired packet rate. Power off and on receiver, should connect instantly to radio transmitter. Receiver remembers the packet rate if you change it.

I say "thank you" a lot, but I'm so appreciative for you making this video showing how terrible it can be to wait for a connection and the simple way to fix it without digging into the receiver lua. I've pointed so many people to that docs page, now I can point them to this. I'm sorry it is very unintuitive, everyone, but we just can't save settings without dropping the connection! 😖Hopefully this new iteration makes it slightly less painful. It saves any the receiver disconnects, including when you switch rates in the lua.

I seen this in a video way earlier you made I have it right on the packet rate it is it takes not even 1 sec super fast thank you now is there a way to do that with the 03 airunit and goggles 2 that takes like 30 sec to a min to connect thank you for this its great

You can also just go into the "other devices" tab in the elrs lua, there you can set the init rate manually
