really tough to make things like this, did that kind of work for 2 days on my back. lockdown made me get some of my ford small block 351 swap into a 928 Porsche. welding and fabricating every part is annoying . so time consuming. i got tired and had to take a break. suspension seems the hardest thing to adapt. i got inspired watching so thanks guys.

I stumbled across Cleetus' channel not too long ago and love his stuff, started watching Jeremy from there, now I'm watching BoostedBois and PFi. You all seem like genuinely good people and it's nice to see hard working young people building something over time. People like you all are part of what makes the world such a great place. All the negativity and poor outlook in the world right now and I see you guys having a blast getting things done.

Wow! I'm hooked. Every video on this project is a priority watch for me! Killer setup. Gonna be a super cool Hart Car. :) On your exhaust outlet, you may find the length is an issue. A car with body work will have a negative pressure zone immediately behind the car. Even though this is open, not sure what you'll find after the firewall goes in. You have the potential for exhaust gases to circulate around back there and possibly get drawn into the car. If that happens, it's just a matter of extending the pipe so the exhaust gets drawn up into the laminar flow farther back behind the car. Really good time watching your build. Thanks for sharing.

There is something i'm worried about: Are you going to close off the engine bay from the cockpit? Because, if some hose snaps, hot fluid could potentially spray all over the front seats, and you can get some severe burns that way. You're going to give this thing hell. If something fails things can go bad for you fast. Keep yourself safe, we don't want to see you get hurt.

Dear jeremy, believe it or not, but you actually saved me time, effort and money on the explanation with brent that started @ 21:59 ! My own project was freaking out on fuel, some time leaner that expected some other time richer to the point where it kill the engine at idle.. And all i was aware of it's that was sensing 0² in the exhaust related .. So thx to you two ! you make some grade A+ content right there ! happy share and like ! be safe all of you !

copper tubing is prone to hardening under vibration and can break. Look into it to avoid future headaches. Yhis thing looks amazing guys! I cant wait to hear itC

most auto parts stores and hardware stores have some stock steel. even places like fleet farm and tractor supply. It's gonna be a bit more and less selection than a steel yard but you might be able to find a few things there if need be. Those kinds of places are still open here in Minnesota

Hey @fasterproms , so just looking at how you guys did the tie rods, because you moved the inboard joints so much closer youre going to have issues with bumpsteer, you actualy want the inner joints to be in the exact same place as the rack and pinion wouldve had them when it was in the fwd layout. Look at like a hicas delete bar on a skyline, it basically just keeps the tie rods as is and replaces the rack with a solid bar mounted in the same location with the ends capped and tapped to thread the tie rods into.

This build has become one of my favorites !! Cute puppies too.

The counterweight on the shifter is for two things. Soft shifter feel and a dampener to take vibration out of the shifter. Every race transmission I ever built had it removed. I also usually shortened the shifter arms about 30 to 40 percent. Source: me, owner of little dragon racing transmissions.

Love it! You guys took on an ambitious project! Question, would having the tie rods the same length as the lower control arms not prevent the toe angle from changing as the car squats or dives under acceleration and braking?

Brent is an awesome guy. All the PFI and BoostedBoys are solid dudes. The PFI shop is not far from me. I may just have to stop in and say hello one day after all this mess is over.
