I now know that this is a feature in the game and not a glitch, sorry I didn’t know. Also this isn’t something new and people have already done this a while ago. I’m saying this now so that everyone knows that I am aware that this isn’t a glitch. for the people who thinks thats fake. its not. ive actually tried to skip his speech by quitting and re launching the game, but it ended up putting me back into his speech. so yea, lesson on this video is to not let mr hippo jumpscare you.

Ok this is unreal, the fact the game is this dedicated to a joke is fantastic.

This isn’t a bug, it’s a feature. No, really. This was made so that people can’t quit out of the game to skip mr hippo Thus this is glitchless

It's not actually a glitch. Mr. Hippo's humorously long tangent is meant to be listened to all the way through because you can't skip it, and attempting to exit out of the game sets a flag in the game's files that automatically take you to the game over screen so that Mr. Hippo's line begins to play. It's pretty annoying when you're trying to complete the game but at least he has a soothing voice.

I wouldn't personally say this counts as the fastest death just because you didn't actually die that quickly, it's how quick you died, not just what the games timer says

I was once playing UCN at my fathers work, it wasn’t that busy so I used the main office computer to play, a customer walked inside as soon as I loaded up the game and pressed Start, he told me to jump off because he needed to use the computer, before I could ALT-F4 I got jumpscared by Mr Hippo…….

Well, it's a feature that Mr. Hippo redirects you to his speech if you close the game, but the time resetting to 0.00.0 could just be a little mistake that Scott didn't think about.

That is crazy, even though this fastest death thing started as a meme, it's still crazy that people can actually get 0:00:0 in it. Gotta love speedruns.

That’s just something that normally happens he he won’t let you leave you will listen to his story

From the Development side of view it makes sense why you get a 0:00:00 time. Mr Hippo kills you which runs a script that saves the fact of him speaking. If you skip it the game remembers that and loads the new scene with the score. But since you didn't die in game you had 0 score to start with. Therefore it said 0:00:00.

Even if this was a glitch, speedruns start when you press play, not when you open up the game, in most cases anyway, but especially for this one.

The original time is what counts, this would basically be the same as resetting the stopwatch after a run instead of lapping it

For those trying to say that this makes the world record 0.00.00, while this is a very neat little thing, it has zero foundation as a "record" because even though the game say 0.00.00, it obviously doesnt actually take 0.00.00 to die. No hate to the creator or anything, just felt that needs some clarification as I've seen some people act like this is a massive speedrun breakthrough

when i was around 8 my sister (a fnaf addict) showed me the fnaf games and my favorite was mr hippo espeically his stories

I accidentally did this and it scared the shit out of me. The other day I was farming for mr hippo stories for no reason and exited the game. Today I just went in to play some ucn and next thing I knew I was being told about how sourdough kills ducks after I had a heart attack

Yeah that happened to me once and I was so mad because I could've easily stopped him, and when I tried to close the game it kept my mouse at the center of the screen and I couldn't alt-F4, so then I had to close the game with the touch screen. And then when I finally got back in, this happened.
