This is my absolute dream car. I only ever saw one for sale in my area, it actually was pretty cheap but back then I didn't have the cash to spare. Never seen one of those for sale ever again. It will probably take me a few years to find a decent one which doesn't cost 50k or more

Its extremely rare version of R class. Somehow not many people where choosing this version. Mostly diesel versions were sold. But yeah, i would like to have one if i would have bigger family. BTW - cool wife for liking such car and wanting to ruin mustang/corvette owners day at the track :))

I've been after owning one of these R63's for the last few years since I saw a silver one in the Supermarket car park in 2015, the owner was a very nice guy and told me that these are a super rare car, I thought he was joking but it turns out he's 100% right, coz I can't seem to fine one for sale anywhere ! :( and I'm in the UK where they imported a few. It's a great car because it's got the same M156 6.2 v8 engine and 4-matic setup from the ML63 but it somehow looks nicer and seems more practical as it can be used as a minivan ! LOL

That wagon is a beast. The word minivan is not a popular word in the M.B. vocabulary. Even though they do have a B Class, it's not being pushed in U.S. market. I would definitely get this for my wife.

Two words, Head Bolts! Have you seen the guy who had to rebuild his engine after they failed. Only way I am going near an M156 is is these bolts have been changed.

problem with the art class panoramic roof kept failing $1,200 repair then there's the famous air ride suspension which was another problem only in production two years based off the Dodge Magnum when Mercedes and Chrysler join together

Not trying to distract from the actual content, but your camera keeps hunting for focus... I'm assuming you're using a low-end DSLR to make this video... if so, you'll need to throw the camera into manual focus prior to filming... that little "zoom" every couple seconds is it front/back focusing based on contrast detect. Good luck.

I have a silver on black Canadian-spec R63 AMG (only 5 made). Picked it up in Ontario a few months ago from the orig owner. MB USA said only 101 were built at the Alabama factory. I guess about 50 were sold in US, the rest is distributed all over the world.
