I just woke up my wife clapping!!! Thank you, Larry and team, for the hard work and dedication over the years. My favorite pass I ever saw was Rodney Willford do 233. This beat that, in sheer awesomeness, at a time when we all need a little positiveness.

The other thing is, there is 66 feet between the two cones for each of the two speed traps, so you can easily add a few mile per hour to that pass, no problem - I would really love for them to calculate how fast he was going at the quarter mile mark, they have the accelerometer so they can calculate it - teams do it somewhat frequently in all the various classes. My favorite example (because I was a part of the larger overall team effort) Brittany Force's first 300+ MPH/sub 4-second run on the Monday after the first Vegas race in 2012.. I want to say the speed they calculated based on the computer data was at LEAST 8 mph.. I want to say it was a bit more.. but it brought it from the 30x.00 to 31x.00 MPH range :)

Time actually slowed down for Larry just a millisecond or so as compared to those who were standing still. Total time dilation going on there. Awesome stuff!!! Yes what can I say...I am the resident psychics guy :)

Shay Earl I’ve seen this comment more than once. There is more than one definition for holeshot. Along with being first it can simply mean a strong launch. From Wikipedia - This term can also be used to describe the starting performance of a vehicle. A vehicle that is fast off the line (though not necessarily fast overall) is said to have a good "holeshot".[2]
