Dang bro, havent seen ya in quite a bit. But once you do, it rocks. Da K6 is king of impracticality, inconvenient, weight, size & whatever else but dang if I dont want one. Its da only 2 wheel GoKart ever & much as I cant see a need, I love it. Big smiles everywhere. Good stuff BigG PS:Tell Nick the peds arent too small, he's just way too big 🤣

12v is technically enough to stop your heart, but you are depending on a whole bunch of circumstances that would have to go horribly, horribly wrong. Being killed by DC is actually surprisingly hard. edit: and really, deaths from dc are from essentially from internal 3rd degree burns that cauterize arteries. It's ac you really need to be careful of, and even then it's only different in damage from dc when taken across the chest. That's why sparkys have the one hand rule. Beware the hertz.

Anything over 50V can kill you given the right conditions. It's not the voltage that kills you it's the current (it's the volts that jolts, and the mills that kills). About 100mA across your heart will do the trick, but it's also a function of time, the longer the period, the greater the danger. AC is considered more lethal than DC, though DC can throw you off, or clamp you to the source of the problem. The K6 looks cool, George and the K6 are colour co-ordinated, they may bring out a K9 but don't buy it, its a dog.

@@rickitynick4463 The voltage drives the current, ohms law (V=IR). Whatever voltage is necessary to drive sufficient current, for sufficient time.

@@Roskellan Correct, you need both. That's why you can melt a steel wire with a 9v battery with the current, but it will only tingle your tongue with the voltage. You need enough of both. Deaths from DC current are almost always from burns, internal and external. AC deaths can be as well, but the cyclic nature of the current across the chest is what also interferes with the nervous system and heart rhythm. I wouldn't want to take significant dc across the chest if you had a pacemaker, though.

Looking at the Styrofoam seat mod, I'm thinking he should wait for the EB Q3 scooter. It's taller with monkey bars, but only 84v, 37mph(should be cheaper).

@@X_iCjay did the update give you 3 modes. im just curious what the update does. because my k6 is running pretty good I dont want to screw it up if it doesnt need it. only thing i cant do that I saw you could do in update is adjust mode 1 regen levels. from 1 to 6. Another guy was saying there is a mode 3.

Don't use 15A fast charger. You will damage your battery. Even though that genuine Samsung 40T cells can handle high current charging you will significantly reduce the life of the battery. Use 4 amp charger to maximize battery life. If you use that 15A charger on Samsung 50E batteries they will go bad very fast, literally get cooked inside.

yes and no , it really depends on your battery setup. 15a on a 1p battery is not the same as 15a on a 8p setup. Samsung 50e cells are rated for a 2.45a charge, so if your running an 8p setup your actually safe to charge at over 16a. your bigger limiting factor is wires and BMS capabilities. best practice is to always charge as slow as possible but the batteries can actually handle quite high currents individually

Your username checks out - you’re a noob. Safe charging completely depends on the battery configuration. Example: 15 amps into an 8p pack is less than 2 amps per group.

@@GoGeorgewhere do you store this thing in the winter. I live in the Midwest and if I left it in the uncontrolled temperature garage the battery life will be toast so fast. I want the K6 I just don't know where to store the thing. Any issues with it so far?

Big no ill stick with the og k4 its way better in many ways and the main one being the battery which is the most expensive k6 battery aint bad however but it's lifespan is shit compared to k4 💯
