Fastest Seamless 10x10 Piston Door (1.8s opening)

2 жыл бұрынProbably the best door I've made. It uses the same concept as the 2.55s 10x10 but instead of normal piston extenders it uses folded piston extender making it a lot faster.
Opening: 1.8 seconds, 1.8s seamless (0s reset)
Closing: 0.75 seconds, 0.75s seamless (1.2s reset)
Volume: 36x19x9, 6156 blocks
Date of completion: 28.11.2021
Version: Minecraft Java edition, 1.16.4

Man, this is sick! I really like the mechanism where the blocks go up and down so that the slime and honey blocks dont stick to them!

Amazing to see a channel like this growing this big, I remember coming every video saying that this needs to be a recognized channel. This door is actually non locational and non directional afaik so I could maybe release a sechamtic. Might do that tomorrow

@@k_clark Ok so I added a download for the litematic in the description, but I don't suggest building this by hand, because it has some weird minecart placements that have the be clipped into the wall and if you make even 1 mistake, the whole door breaks

THE PERFECT 10X10 PISTON DOOR!!! Edit: I think this layout with sticky pistons, slime, and honey blocks can apply to 6x6, 8x8, 12x12 piston doors as well.

6x6 wouldn’t be any faster than the current fastest, 8x8 would be faster and 12x12 would work with slight modifications

Amazing door, although I do believe the door to be locational as I got it to work in some places but not others, however it worked far more than it did not

Huh? As far as I know the schematic is broken right now so it shouldn't work in any location xd. But the door itself should not be locational because I remember testing it quite a lot

@@avogaado I managed to fix the schematic, but yeah most of the time it worked, i pasted a bunch and rotated, only had 1 fail, but a fail nonetheless, the middle 2 coloumns didnt get pulled back which then broke the door next time you tried to use it
