www.1320video.com/store/dvd/ Larry Larson proves his car once again to be the fastest street car in the world by completing Hot Rod Magazin'es Drag Week 2010 AND making the first 6 second pass in Drag Week history! Not only did he make a 6 second pass, but he made that pass after driving 1200 miles on country roads, rain, and he did it 20 minutes after a 7.005 pass, hot lapping the car!

what a nice car, its done right, bet you could drive it on vacation too, sounds very stable and durable, the blue flame spitting down is badass too. it almost set the track on fire lol makes me sad to see the stands empty tho, why do people not do this anymore, in the 70s you couldnt get a seat. nice car, nice work

This car is geared for the quarter, change the gearing and no super car could ever touch it. But that is stupid as this is a drag car, and comparing super cars to drag cars is retarded. They each serve a purpose. Thats like arguing that your orange tastes more like an orange than my apple, it just doesn't make sense. Stop over thinking things you are going to hurt yourself.

***** And yet the car the guy you mentioned ran in is far from street legal, he won't be driving that home. Sal's viper is full interior, weighs 3700+lbs, and can be driven home after he's done at the strip. I know Larry Larson's car is street legal as well, but its interior is stripped and he still needs slicks and a wheelie bar to run in the 6's. Maybe there isn't really that big of a diff between slicks and radials? Just seems like, with the addition of slicks and wheelie bar, in my head, he should be a half second or so ahead of that Viper I mentioned considering he traps higher mph.

I have answered questions about this Mustang.It produces about 1,800 foot pounds of torque through out its power band.The transmission is a Tremec 8 speed Rockcrusher and gets an average of 22 miles per gallon (pump gas 89 octane) due to its tremendous torque output.

Driving a 6 second monster with meaty slicks in the rain. Damn lol. I remember having a shitty time driving nitto T05's on my lightning in the rain. Slightest bit of incline on the road barley touching the gas my ass end was kicking out.

Hey, I'd like to see some videos of your two Tremec 8 Speed transmissions, I cant seem to find any on your channel. I can only find a few Afrika Bambaataa videos :( Maybe its because they don't build an 8 speed racing transmission, nor do they build it for Military, Commercial, Agricultural or passenger vehicles. At least that's what Tremec said. Even if they did, surely someone with that money etc, would be able to make sense when writing a short paragraph boasting about what he hasn't got!

I have to say, I'm a fan of import cars more than American Muscle (Just personal preference). But after seeing the video of the Supra drag car by Kanoo racing and comparing it to this vid...I prefer this car. This car just feels like it has more soul. Totally badass.

Australia might have some contenders soon...Joe Gueci's cortina is running 7.1sec @202mph...his car isnt tubbed yet either.. with the bonnet/hood closed, it just looks like a tuff streeter.
