Don’t have a db yet but do plan on it. Been my dream to not only have one but to race em since i was little. A bunch of doors recently opened up to me to take this sport on and i have been gladly opening them. Thanks Tyler for EVERY SINGLE VID. Been a great help so far!!!!!

I grew up racing MX, played football, basketball, baseball, and golf, i also grew up wakeboarding and snowboarding.....I can honestly say NOTHING compares to MX....the sport itself is amazing but it’s also the people you meet and the friends you make while riding... now my 7 year-old races and it just solidifies my love for the sport until the day I die....welcome bro

Cool video! You need to take the power to weight ratios with him sitting on the bike and with him sitting in the TRX since you’re comparing bike and truck. The ratios are going to be much closer together that way since the bikes ratio will come down more than the trucks ratio and therefore be more in line with the race results.

Yup -- it's irrelevant what the ratio is without the rider, unless the bike can race without a rider.

Yeah that was really a pretty good match ...thank Tony Schumacher for playing along u know how good Tyler is on a start...u got the best at Tony Schumacher the christmas tree light slayer i really thought the bike was gonna get a small lead at the beginning an i was counting on Tony experienced to come in to play about midway but Tony just got off the line like the 6 time champian that he is..an then the bike just nabbed to lead at the end....what pretty even race though....

Really? I guess you don’t go to the track much. Hellcats and alike get absolutely destroyed on the track (with turns) by Porsches and M cars with half the HP. It’s the biggest waste of HP on the planet, that it’s laughable. You can’t just throw a big engine in a street car and not give A damn about the rest of the vehicle and expect it to do well. Ford and even Chevy have figured this out, but dodge continues to be stuck in the 60s

I supermotard my 450, and I can say it probably wouldn't win on the road. It's literally impossible to keep the front wheel down in first gear. If you're balls are on the gas cap, you can keep the front end from climbing in second gear. 3rd+ is all power limited, not lift limited.

Right!? I think the top version makes some 70hp if I remember correctly and I’d imagine being electric that it makes peak power quicker and for a longer duration than a gas engine. Biggest challenge there might be keeping traction and not looping it.

It would definitely lose. It would be fighting traction to much and when it does hook it would then try to pick the front end up. 450cc bikes are more consistent.🤷🏻♂️

@@LolliWANG505 definitely agree it’d be a hell of a time to try to put 70hp down on the dirt, but I’d have to disagree about consistency, a gas engine has far more variables in its operation and that’s before you take into account the riders clutch manipulation, whereas electric is going to give you the same result each time you twist it.

I'm having issues popping a wheelie. New to bikes. Got an 07 klx250s not too long ago. Every time I pop the clutch and try to pick up the front tire, the bike just loses rpm and fails to do a wheelie. How much throttle do I give it?

Pretty good for 4 wheels. Most bullet bikes will destroy most supercars on the street. Of course the street bikes will have 2-3 times the HP as the 450 tho.

Notice: no rear brake disk on the bike. Probably to eliminate the drag of the pads which is minimal.

There's a rear brake disk on the back, take a look again. There's a quick shot at 6:23 where you can easily see it, and when they first start you can see it too.

Even with them giving the trx an advantage the 450 still beat it, if you would have started the 450 inline with the front of the trx insted of the back like the vid, the 450 would have beaten it by a extra whole bike length easy. Not even to mention if the 450 had a system like the christini AWD system no contest.

Confused as to why "the hotter they are the better they run". This is the opposite of normal to me. cars always dyno worse as they get hotter, as the ecm pulls timing to prevent detonation.

Dude, my 350 makes 52 or 53. A mild intake clean up and an ecu on a 450 should be 60+ 2016 ktms had 59.

This is wheel HP, not engine HP. Typically wheel HP is 10-20% less than engine HP.
