Try to actually understand why the unit circle is the way it is. It's easier to remember when you know why

Wym? Pre calc is basically what we learn in math III and math II in the high school but it’s just a little bit more in depth and elaborate. It’s really simple. I’m so excited to take Calc AB next semester to actually learn something new!

Just remember that memorisation is not the point of maths and so I recommend to use a right isosceles triangle and equilateral triangle to derive these formulas, whilst also using the circle theorem that right angles triangles fit inside a semi circle. This uses logic instead of memory

Great trick to memorizing the coordinates of where the terminal sides of 30, 45, and 60 degree intersect the unit circle. Thanks for this. One thing though, if you ever want to edit something, you say "square the numerators" when really you are taking "the square roots of the numerators." One of my students at the university pointed this out to me. But thanks again.

Basically, think of it like a graph. So Q2 would have a negative x value, Q3 would have a negative x and y, and Q4 would have a negative y. Hope this makes sense and helps out!
