There were ten toys in this collection by the way. Apparently the Pinocchio ones kept breaking due to them being bendable toys with a wire in each one--as you were supposed to bend and stick him in the cage as the action--and as a result, it got recalled.

Glad to finally see you cover these toys. The only negative I have is that the Fiona toy SPOILS the plot twist of her having an ogre curse by night when the marketing and trailers HID that plot twist well and for GOOD reason. It should’ve been in the clause that none of the merchandising can spoil the twist concerning Fiona till the release of the second film.

I understand why they recalled the pinocchio toy. The toy is a bendy buddy and the wire would rip out and stab the kid's thumb. That is the reason why.

Remember the Silly Scrat toy from the Ice Age 2 The Meltdown set. When you pulled down Scrat’s tail he also made weird sounds. No batteries required.

Either my sister or I had the Pop-Up Picnic one, or maybe we each had one; I can't remember. So ironic that the DreamWorks animators thought this movie was a punishment during its trouble development, only to become their biggest franchise. The first and second Shrek both are two of my favourite animated films ever.

My best guess for the Donkey toy is that it's sort of like that chattering Scrat toy from that Ice Age 2 Burger King 2005 set and the Insaniac toy from the 1998 Small Soldiers Burger King set that you've both previously reviewed. I think the holes are just supposed to be where the chattering sound comes out from.

13:46 since my favorite toy is the shark pop-up picnic you know, in my fan made guess, I think shred is at like a animal museum and he sees some colored bugs two red ones and three yellows and blue ones, and they’re old covered inside glass case, so my guess is since Shrek see some colorful bugs inside in a glass display case, and I think he’s just banging on the table display and The colorful birds are just bouncing around in there to make it look like he’s trying to get them to come out of that glass case to eat them XD (I don’t really like the fairytale Freaks Cards that come with the toys, cause those are just Werid and ugly in my Opinion)

Here’s a guess of why was recalled I think it’s been recalled because the plastic Pinocchio doll inside the carriage because a big choking hazard with the wheels Or another reason it’s because it looked like a boy inside, I think the carriage Make me a kind of disturbing

The Donkey toy does now basically what it did then. I did indeed get it back in spring/summer 2001-that summer I turned 10-and I can vouch for that.
