This video features guide training on the Upper Ocoee at the big holes in the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Slalom Course. They swim in and beater their way through the big hydraulics while the crowd cheers them on! Ocoee river rafting can be a lot of fun but sometimes things do not go as planned as you can see in this video. Class IV rafting excitement for both rafters and spectators at the 1996 Olympic Course. This video features video shot by Fast Fred and additional footage shot by Holly both provide funny commentary.

I honestly don't know how many times I have run the Ocoee. I'd have to fish out all my pics. Only did the all day Olympic course once. It was awesome. No, I have never fallen out, came close a few times though.

Ya sign a waiver and choose your outfitter. And it might be a good idea to choose or request your guide too! Each company is responsible for setting their own safety.

Raft 1 guide. Paddles are to control your boat, not give to people on the bank. Furthermore, had you continued prying, you could have straightened your line into Humongous, and not lost a guest. Quit being lazy.

lol experiences will vary. Training on the whole has improved since this video was recorded. It takes most guides years to get smooth.
