Every Sunday when you go live, I’m reminded how far behind I’d be if I hadn’t found your channel, Jerome. I’d still be trying to lose weight and getting nowhere. Instead I’m 38 days into doing rolling fasts and losing weight. Thank you!

37 hrs into a 68 hr fast. Incorporating fasting into my life was the best decision ever!! Congrats on getting back to goal weight jeromey-rome!! 🎉🎉❤❤ And I LOVE it that you're putting the hammer down on the trolls. Doesn't do anything but possibly discourage people that are genuinely wanting to make a difference in their health. Show em the door!!

I just completed 50 days of Rolling 115’s and 116’s and I remember when I was on my 10th day wishing I had started earlier. Still Rolling and let me say something to you all. This is a challenge, learning from your mistakes. Telling that lawyer inside your head 🧠 to STFU!! and say no 🚫 I’m in charge, I decide. Never thought I could do it. My secret is this, live for the non-scale Victories. As wild as it sounds, I advise no scale and no mirrors during your journey. It’s also working bc I work from home and I listen to the lives during my workout for therapy. Mostly what gets me through besides the water is morning Meditation 🧘🏾‍♂️. Don’t tell people what your doing. Just zip it 🤫and win your days. 🥇

Hey Jerome. Just starting my very first 90 hour fast last night Done 72 hour in the past and know it works. Just got back from vacation yesterday and have to do something to get my weight in control. Hoping it resets my body and then going to do an Alternative ADF program where I only eat in a 8 hr window on Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays. That will give me 2 40 hour fasts and a 64 fast each week. Tired of the yo-yo cycle. Praying this works and thank you for the motivation

I’ve started over for over a year everyday. Today, is another start over day. But I’m more confident today that I’ll reach my goal to just get started. If I make it today, I can make it the next day and so forth. I have a family reunion to go to in late August and that’s my goal, to lose about 57 lbs or 60 lbs by then. I’m 187.6 right now. I want to get to 130 at least, or 125 lbs. I WILL DO THIS. I’ll be breaking my 40 day fast with chicken bone broth and then watermelon.

Thank you Jerome. You are so spot on about getting to know oneself. I started off aiming for 72 hr fasts with a 4hr refeed but almost 4 weeks on, I’ve found that 48hrs is my sweet spot and I need an 8 hour refeed window because fasting has diminished my appetite so much that I can’t eat much in one sitting so I have to spread my food over about 8 hours. You know your stuff👍

Another good takeaway from today's live chat, that may work for me (not saying it's for everyone) delaying drinking water during an extended fast after I wake up until I'm really really thirsty so that the water itself becomes something i crave instead of food.

@@FinallyFasting will do that. But yes, staying away from water first thing has made it easier to fill up on water about 3 to 4 hours after I wake up. And so I am feeling full for longer

found your channel today while considering doing a water fast while doing Dr. Bobby Price's detox and I think that now I'm going to do 72-hour water fasts with the 14-day detox. I've been in Japan for about 2 weeks vacations and ate like a maniac. Local food is unbelievable. Hey in keto carnivore. What Jerome says is true... YOU HAVE TO TRUST YOUR PROCESS, EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT. I gained like 20 pounds in a week of rolling 72, that water weight is gone. Every body needs a different process. You need to know how your body works. Jerome thanks, bro for everything. Every live is delightful.

He’s now living in the apartment right beside me. We fight. Should be interesting 🤦🏼‍♂️. I saw the new Bad Boys movie today (Sunday). Martin is absolutely hilarious. It’s a great movie everyone should check it out. Anyways, my nerd stats… Week 16: 2 fasts, 75hrs/25min & 45hrs -1.5 -54.1 total 269.1 current weight! I’m in the 260’s. Exciting! Hope everyone is smashing their goals. If not, set the timer and go again! Keep trying.

@FinallyFasting 2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I didn’t determine how many calories I’d eat. I eat until satiety. No caloric or macro restriction. That usually amounts to (lately) 5-7kcal per refeed. It’s a larger amount than most people tend to eat, but it’s how I eat, even at 5’3” 140lbs You can find a playlist called REFEED on my channel that shows exactly how and what I eat

That's why fasting is one of the pillars of Islam because it has so many benefits. We Muslims fast 30 days in Ramadan from a little before sunrise until sunset for entire month and eleven days every month supplementary fasting. Islam is so beautiful for your body and for your soul Alhumdulillah

Isn't the weight gained after a refeed just the food itself? put the food on a scale prior to eating it, you will see, it's heavy.
@aiden9586
@aiden9586 2 ай бұрын
Definitely and any water or liquids consumed. If you eat carbs or salt they also make you retain water which hugely effects the weight on the scale.
@unk000
@unk000 2 ай бұрын
During re-feeds it's the weight of food in your stomach + water retention that increases your weight on the scale. You're not going to get fat from just a 4 hour re-feed window. Fat weight only builds through repetition of bad habits over a (somewhat) long period of time. Nothing to worry about in this particular case 😄 Personally, I don't even weight until the end of the month so that I don't even worry about that. I have full faith in the process : follow the recipe as closely as you can, and you'll see positive results 😉👍

Find a fasting/exercise/eating amount protocol that works for you. Start with eating 2 meals a day and go for a walk see if you loose weight after a week if yes great if no extend your fast time OMD if no weight lose alternate day fasting if no weight loss 48 hour fasting no weight loss 72 hour fasting. Add weight training to your plan or evaluate how much food you eat at your Refeed everyone is different. I can only eat on Sundays if I want to loose weight 🤷🏻‍♀️ everyone is different.
