Ingredients for Fasting Cake:
- 400 gr of wheat flour;
- 400 ml of mineral water;
- 50 ml of mineral water for hydrating the cocoa powder;
- 40 gr of cornstarch;
- 100 ml of sunflower oil;
- grated zest of one lemon;
- grated zest of one orange;
- 1 vial of vanilla essence;
- 1 vial of rum essence;
- 40 gr of coconut flakes;
- 10 gr of cocoa powder;
- 200 gr of sugar;
- 16 gr of baking powder (optional with saffron);
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, top and bottom heat, and when the cake is put in, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for 70 minutes. Remove it, check with a toothpick to see if it's done, let it cool, and serve.
