Hi, Asiya!! I just want to thank you for all the content you've created to help all test takers! With your videos, I got an overall band score of 8.0, and for each part, L - 9.0, R - 8.5, W - 7.5, S - 7.5. That was my first take, and I was super nervous for my writing, but I'm happy with what I got for it, so thank you again, and keep up the amazing content!

@@firuzaergasheva8816 take practice tests as much as you can to get used to them. For listening, I skim through the questions, think up of possible answers, and then if you could, guess, then edit once you hear the answer. Reading, I skim a bit, read the question, then go back to the passage. I don't know if it would work for you, but that's how I did it. As much as possible, don't leave anything blank, they don't mark you for wrong answers.

I got my computer based ielts result today . I gave exam on 11 th sept 2021 and I got result in only one day . 8 in reading 7 7 7 . I gave exam in north York Toronto . Thanks for ur valuable suggestions .

@@madison9474 I just got my result and got an overall 7.5. I messed up in speaking and thought I will get a very low score, but got a 7. And in listening 8.5, in reading 8.5 and writing 6.5 :')

Today's writing task 2 question: youngsters get influenced by peers. This is called peer group pressure. Do disadvantages of peer pressure outweigh the advantages.

@@firuzaergasheva8816 for listening what I did was, I watched a lot of series and movies without subtitles. My attention span is generally less, so I had to put in effort to stay focused for 30 minutes. Podcasts help a lot. All you have to do is not get distracted while listening. Imo, listening is generally easy. For reading, if you have enough time till your exam, then read a book or two. Get used to reading, skimming through the pages.. During my test, again due to my low attention span, I didn't read the whole passage. I just scanned the text quickly and decided to look for key words. Words and phrases in the question appearing in the paragraph. For the most part I got the answers right away. For the rest I would read that particular paragraph and the one above or below. That gave me the answers. This method of answering got me 30 minutes of free time after answering all parts. So I read the passages fully to get an idea about the answers I wasn't completely sure of

I completed my task 2 essay but, (*time shortage*)writing 1 not completed means ... *I wrote introduction, 2 3 comparision hardly 2 3 lines use of while and whereas (I wrote only Bp1 2 4 lines ), then in last I wrote overall in one sentence* ... I am a partially sighted person and have my ielts on 16th this month I am scared and need some answers from you please tell me that can I request to carry my watch with me coz I can't see the clock if it's too high ...and one more question ...what is the font size of ielts exam paper based m especially worried about reading because I won't be able to read if it's too small ..also tell me please what kind of procedures are done before the starting of exam ..some say they take our fingerprint some say they don't can you please explain 🙏

Hi Harsimran! Have you considered taking a computer-based exam? You'll be able to choose the font size you're comfortable with and the timer will be right infront of you. As for the paper-based exam, I think it's better to contact your test centre asap and ask them how they can help

Do you mean in separate paragraphs? It's better to place them together. 1 sentence is not a paragraph :)
