My notes 1) check your skill by trying the test without timer 2) Understand your mistakes, analyze it why is your answer incorrect 3) challenging : - t/f/ng - y/n/ng this type of questions are in order (knowing the types of question will help with how you could answer it) 4) Find the type of question and keep trying 5) highlight keywords (names, dates, places) 6) you may not understand the vocabs, but you can understand by its context and structure. if you have more mistakes in section 3, you need to improve your vocabs first 7) now try the timer (60 mins) - work on time management, try to finish the first section the fastest - improve your reading section - extensive reading : read phrases not the individual words, you could read many words at the same time turn off the voice so it won't slow you don't, quit rereading, read more articles (BBC science) I plan to take IELTS next August, thank you for the tips, Asiya❤

Hello sister. I have a question about listening and reading cbt test. In Cambridge book we are usually finding that in listening section 1 has fill in the gaps, 2 has mcq,map,gaps,part 3 also mcq,matching box ad 4 has always gaps. In real cbt exam is it similar like Cambridge book?

I am so desperate, I can do all sections well except reading and reading is the most complicated right now. I’ve just started to prepare and I realised how I am unable to pass reading section 😢. Maybe you don’t believe but I scored only 9/40. Other skills at least 25 but how I can’t understant. I started to scan the text and answer but when I read again I am confused. All my first answers are right 😢but I crossed them and gave another answers. I started to watch tons of videos about reading and I hope I can understand logic between test and answers

Hello sister. I am a big fan of you and your channel. I will give computer based ielts exam in next month. I am completing Cambridge academic book pdf from my laptop. But I give some mock test in some centre of our country. I see that maximum listening gap are 2/3 word which are actually less use in Cambridge book. Although this book has said no more than 2/3 word but they use only one word. Do you know about it? Actually how many word are given in real CBT exam?

Hi! So, I had my speaking exam today and everything went perfectly up until the last question of part 3. After asking the question, the examiner looked away from the screen and that distracted me so I slipped and used a tiny native word that means - "meaning/that means" under my breath during my answer. I recovered immediately and continued in English but the examiner interrupted me saying the time was over, so I guess he looked away because the time was almost over. Anyway, how much do you think this small slip and being unable to finish my last answer will affect my score? Everything else went quite flawlessly I suppose.
