I've lost about 30lbs doing juicing for about 6 months. I wasn't JUST juicing, I proportioned my meals. Now I nearly avoid ALL foods w/HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP and any food that is labeled (as much as I can cause it's hard) and in almost 3 weeks I lost about 10lbs. I work out, mainly cardio and some muscle training. Drink lots of water/take vitamins. I can finally run for long periods of time and have lots of energy! I use the recipe and add other greens and fruits! Hope this testimony helped!:)

I have been eating 1 meal a day and drinking juice 3 - 4 times a day… for type 2 diabetes I was on 2000 mg. of metformin and 5 mg of glipizide daily and within a week I cut the metformin to 1000 mg and I cut the glipizide out altogether. 1 meal a day of chicken or fish and vegetables. I have dropped 10 pounds in two weeks- this is a perminant change… no bread, no red meat, no processed food period. I am planting a garden in the back yard.... I think I'm hooked on greens!!

@MagmaWoodworks11 жыл бұрын
On Joe's website, he recommends running the pulp through the machine for a second pass to get that remaining juice. Also, the pulp can be saved and added to other recipes or used to make vegetable broth. Those tips reduce a lot of waste.

I'm starting the organic natural juice "cleanse" and even though I'm not overweight, I have had lots of joint and other body pains. I can already see a huge difference, just from drinking natural fresh juice! I got a terrible candida yeast infection from drinking processed "100% natural fruit juice" that had been processed and turned into fructose sugar. Same goes for processed orange juice. Now it's all completely organic and fresh made every two or three days. Works! It's a miracle, really. I use a Champion masticating juicer, although a Breville is used on the show.

I was told I have uticaria, and Dyshidrotic Eczema, and both have fairly subsided due in part to using ONLY soaps that are unsented, and the use of Clobetasol Propionate ointment (.05%). I am off of Zertec, which was perscribed for the uticaria. I don't have hives, and the only time I did have hives was when something brushed up against my skin... that subsided before juicing, and I atribute that to using unsented soap, including laundry and hand soap and unsented body soap.

No you don't have to use recipes if you know what you're doing. You can put together any combination of fruits and veggies. The biggest problem would be taste, but any tasteless combination can be "rescued" by adding apples and/or carrots, or any thing with a sweeter flavor. Try it!!

If anything it will make you more anxious as you give up food and dont have any of the comfort foods that would calm you down like potatoes, breads etc., you could try going for 3 days and see, then 5 days then 7 then longer, Ive tried and after a day I give up, Ive taken Paxil for 22yrs and recently tapered down from 20mg to 5mg, the good thing about juicefasting is that you can still take the meds, good luck ;)

Know what you mean! Did it for about 2-3 weeks and it did wonders, my thinking got a lot clearer, although I had headaches, mild ones, but the doozie was - I started to smell everything as they were. It was not pleasant at all. You smelled what people were eating, and if by chance they were eating Chinese food - you could smell the spices on the food and if the meat was rotten or not. In many cases the meat was rotten and the spices was there to cover the smell of the rotted meat but I could clearly smell both while the person would be chomping away without a care in the world. I would break out in a cold sweat and have to move away, because it smelled awful. I was also able tolerate extremely cold weather.

The primary lesson here is to CONSUME MORE PLANT MATTER. Find a supermarket that has a great selection of organic produce, and start juicing 2 - 3 times a day, eat salads and maybe some chicken or wild caught fish. in a week or so, and it’s like someone turns the lights on. I could't believe how in tune with my senses I became. So yes, it does work, you just have to be committed to it. Like a smoker deciding to quit, it takes commitment. Stop the junk food, and eat from the garden.

Nope, there's actually two types of fiber in vegetables and fruit. Soluble and Insoluble. We often associate fiber with the insoluble part of fruits and veggies, but in juice like that we still get the necessary fiber to survive in the form of soluble fiber. I've watched the documentary and started fasting, I'm on day 17 and I've lost 27lbs. The biggest challenge is recognizing the difference between a hunger (time for juice) and a craving (stay strong) and keeping control of yourself.

Well actualy Joe Cross's video has been shown in Australia. Maybe you can tell me what Joe Cross tried to sell you on the show apart from fresh fruit and veg and a juicer, he did name Breville but you can juice with any juicer and get results. If you want a really good juicer get a masticating juicer but it will cost 2 to 3 times as much. All Joe is saying is it worked for him and his friends. I'm willing to have a go, my juicer cost $60.00 on ebay and the veg is reasonably cheap locally.

Wheat may be a plant, but they way most of us get it is in a refined processed form called flour. White flour creates most of the bread we eat and the second you ingest that bread it becomes a sugar, which is not healthy. Complex carbs such as vegetables are much healthier and won't make you fat. As an example, the coca plant has many great properties and health benefits if we use it as tea, but if you refine that down you get cocaine. It's the refining properties that make it unhealthy.

@GIRLINA101 @GIRLINA101 yes there is..you want to use a juicer -vitamixes are great for green smoothies, soups etc but not good for juice fasting as they contain the pulp.also some think it the vitamix oxidizes the juice.. I'm assuming your a vegetarian or vegan.. Whatever works for you is great but I'm not going to stop consuming dairy or meat. I plan on doing the veg and fruit fast for like 10 days but after that I want my chicken and milk back. Last time I checked calcium and protein actually help the body. I might be eating half a plate of veg but I want at least some meat or sweet potatoes or something to change the flavours up so I don't get bored of the healthy lifestyle.
