I understand what Dee is saying and I understand what the guys are saying. However, if it's a group of 15 people and they already have a table reserved she should have been let in. The table is paid for and everyone who's a part of the party should be at the table. Discrimination in a superficial environment is understandable but, if I paid my good money my ugly homegirl is coming in. If it's a situation where we're all getting in for free and the bouncer chooses one of us to not go in then we'll all just go to a different place.

My only issue with the 2 guys is that they interject gender whataboutisms when responding to these women. "It happens to us, we deal with it and you should too". Trying to silence someone's issues because you choose to silently deal with them yourself, is not an approach I personally would take. It's like you validate and dismiss their point simultaneously. But I agree with the core argument of the dudes. Especially after I found out that the women weren't flat out denied entry but had to pay lol. But like you said Dee, if you have issues with the way someone runs their business, don't go.

I agree, people love to suffer in silence and then get mad when people get sick of the situations and speak up for themselves. But also I agree you should expect to pay if almost everyone else is paying. I do think there's a combination of white/influencer entitlement that I just can't get behind.

Them two are starting to annoy me in these topics they cover. They used to be decent and look at things in everyone's picture but recently idk what is happening. They keep missing for me. Like an example they covered the thing when Nicki Minaj was ranting on twitter for her KZfaq video getting flagged. Her argument was about how there's many videos on KZfaq that are extremely worse but her video got automatically flagged. She wanted consistency in KZfaq policies. (As if you're a KZfaqr or watch them you know that's the main thing they complain about). Then they reviewed the topic and they didn't even do research on why she was mad or what she was saying. They just saw a black woman mad and talked how shes just complaining cuz she cant show her ass to"kids" and all this weird ass shit. They once again made it about gender wars then they started to talk about how small creators have it harder than her... when her whole argument was literally that. Recently they've been belittling women just to prove a point. Idk whats happening, respectfully saying, this feels like the straight men with podcast shit.

I’m tired of the gender war to Dee, I feel you! But yeah the guys are right, we really need to stop telling women, and (some men) that they are 10’s no matter what. It’s not true. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder yes, but also we all know the basic standards of what is typically seen as attractive, and being fat isn’t one of them. People need to be more honest with themselves. EDIT: It is unnatural for the human body to be fat, and for the record when I say fat I don’t mean a bit chubby or slightly overweight I’m talking obese. It is 100% a basic beauty standard recognized all over the world! Name one sex symbol who is fat. Name one! Yeah there my be SOME people who like it, but those people are outliners. They are an EXCEPTION, not the norm. I’ve been alive for 28 years, and in all my years I have YET to see being fat considered hot. I’ve seen big butts come and go. Big tits come and go. Big lips come and go. Big eyes come and go, but yet never a big stomach come and go. This isn’t helping anyone. Y’all need to stop lying to yourselves. If those girls where the BASIC standard of beauty, they would of gotten in that club. I’m not saying it’s right but it’s how the world is. We judge people based on looks everyday! Just like the man said, when it doesn’t benefit you now you wanna throw a fit about it 🙄

In the club business, gender plays a role whether folks want to say its irrelevant or not. Certain things women can do, men can't depending on the circumstance, such as the ratio of people and what different groups mean when it comes to payment. In this case, a group of 15 girls at a table for that specific night may have meant that the "worst looking girls" were a liability when it came to that night's profits. Maybe in that night, there wasn't enough dudes to cover or make $$$ off the larger population of women that night. Hence why the bounce as like #NOTTONIGHT It's shallow but this is how the club scene is. If it wasn't their weight, it could've been there race or height, which would've brought in other factors which I'm sure most folks wouldn't entertain or make excuses for (This is in regards to people saying that their gender doesn't matter...it does). Bottom line is, it sucks and its gross, but what do you expect at a vanity cesspool like a Los Angeles nightclub where plenty of women go in with the understanding that they will get certain treatment for free and where plenty of men understand that they will have to compete, pay, and finesse their way to try to pull in chicks who are all doing the same routine in order to get some. That's the "game". Wanna change it, then don't play it. Take your time and money in a bar or some other spot where men and women can enjoy each other and pay for their own shit with less of the bullshit thrown in.

Personally never understood why people went clubbing because I was like okay it's a hot sweaty gross environment with people who will more than likely try to roof for you so I never understood the appeal of going to those places when you could where do we just stay home eat good food and play music But the fact that there's a lot of colorism and racism and with this video fat phobia there too I'm like what is so good about clothes that you would deal with this type of stuff And now whole entire it is what it is and that's the nature of it mentality is always dumb if we just had that mentality for racism and every other form of discrimination we would still be in the exact same place that we are out of today like if something is bad you should fix it just because something is a certain way doesn't mean it has to stay that way And I'm going to be very blunt very real if they want to complain about it they can they don't have to be nice or be quiet whatsoever if they didn't enjoy the service if they didn't enjoy the club if they noticed there was a consistent problem they can talk about it don't have problems and people won't have nothing to complain about

The problem is that they had no problem conforming to the problem by entering in the club until the problem affected them. That's there whole point in the video, they would conform to the club culture when it benefits them but as soon as it doesn't, they wanna fight it. It's hypocritical, and clubs aren't exactly ethical places in the first place to even make such discrimination arguments. All types of unethical stuff go down at these places, and it's generally frowned upon to even go by ethical people. That's like me going to a kkk rally and expecting to be treated fairly lol.

I understand what your saying about the gender war but I think we need to take into account their audience which is primarily men and that is the first thing a man would think after seeing that because of the experience of the overwhelming majority of men when going to the club even if you're very good looking, and have money. So I don't think it's a matter of a gender war but rather just the neutral thought prices. Or maybe I'm wrong

These guys are mostly incorrect; they are justifying discrimination for so-called imperfect women. I was going to the clubs from the late 1980s through mid-2000s and it is a practice that generally is designed to create a particular image so it attracts a particular crowd and hence is considered "Exclusive". The best thing is not to support these places. It's sad that a woman cannot enjoy a night out and risk not even being allowed to go into a club because of looks/size. To be clear, this mostly happens to women at these clubs.

She will say ok babe what I need to do and I will instruct her since I’m more familiar with exercising. She would follow my lead. And I adore her for it. Points were made, but bringing up Jim Crow era bus discrimination was dumb as fuck. These people who couldn’t even afford a car just wanted to have a way to work. And those boycotts were the spark of so many advancements in civil rights so it did turn out to be more than just “fighting to ride on the back of the bus”. I’m guessing these guys mobilize to effect changes in their community all the time. Sorry poor Black people didn’t fight to completely dismantle for these guys liking.

Narcissistic behavior. Get over yourself ladies. You aren’t special and you just found out the hard way. Von Miller, Michael B Jordan, lots of “beautiful” people get denied access all the time.
