2.12.24 | By Usman | FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens- A Man is dead this afternoon after police opened fire in the Edgemere Apts located on Beach 51 St at 10:30 AM Tuesday morning. Police responded to domestic incident when the persons brother opened fire with a gun causing police to fire back. The person was rushed to local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased this afternoon. The officers involved suffered minor injuries. A neighboring school was placed under lockdown and police are currently conducting an investigation
