Absolutely wonderful. Complete harmony of setting, elegant and feminine designs plus music. Gorgeous.

This is one of my favorite collections, and shows, of the season. These are frankly-feminine styles that make the most of the female shape - no baggy, shapeless androgynous looks here. Classic men’s tailoring is used in the very best way, to highlight the feminine curves, not drown them. I love just about everything about them, they are classic and soft, yet modern and fresh-looking. There is not a single silhouette that would be unflattering to the average woman, unlike some other, really terrible, collections this season that I could mention. The fabrics are lovely, from the crisp, white cottons (linens? difficult to determine at this distance) to the delicate floral silk chiffons, but I think one of the standout of this collection is the embellishment (except for those on the shoes). They are original and all wearable, and I especially love the beading done on that diamond pattern, and the perfect-length (not dangerously long) sparkly fringes. One of my favorite ensembles is the trousers and deep-cut cropped tank with the diamond-pattern beading, but I would like to wear it in white, or any light tint, other than the coral shown. There are also several beautiful shirt and blouse options shown. It’s interesting that the lilac/lavender and coral/melon (again!) colors that the show opened with have been pushed by designers for 3-4 years, but have yet to really gain the support of lots of buyers, and I’m not a great fan of these colors, either. Neutrals have been, and remain, the mainstay of women’s wardrobes, and designer attempts to introduce brighter colors have been overwhelmingly resisted by buyers. I would also have liked to see more of the colors of this season, i.e., the watery hues of light blues and greens, and the taupe, stone and birch hues, all inspired by nature. Accessories: I love the simple “diamond” headband, and I think it will look great on all women. My least favorites of the collection are the shoes; the too-high heels and Playboy-Bunny style embellishments look dated and overtly-sexy, they just don’t feel up-to-date and certainly aren’t wearable. The show was also very well done and a pleasure to watch. The location, music, simple hair and natural makeup, were all just right and didn’t detract in any way from the fabulous clothing. I would suggest, however, slowing the pace down in future shows so that we can take in the styles more fully. We have only the brief camera shots to look at, not the longer time, and the opportunity to see the models at different angles, of the runway; this live-runway pace doesn’t do justice to the collection in the digital format. I would enjoy viewing this collection over 30, rather than 15, minutes. I’ve watched this show twice and barely glimpsed the handbags and some other details yet. This designer is going to get a lot more attention from me in the future.

Avevo già sentito parlare di Elisabetta Franchi e pure sentito una, sua intervista qualche anno fa. Mi piace moltissimo lo stile di questi vestiti! Alcuni sono romantici, freschi, taluni a volte con un tocco sbarazzino, "fru-fru", altri più signorili, altri sensuali e anche un po' audaci ma mai esagerati o eccessivi o volgari, diciamo che risultano anche sexy ma fini ed eleganti! I colori usati glicine o lillà come si vuol chiamare e corallo poi sono da sempre I miei preferiti!! Poi con bianco candido, nero e beige neutro non si sbaglia, mai. Complimenti!!!, una Bellissima collezione!! 👍😃😃
