Being from Orlando, FL I have never ridden my Mountain Bike on a lake on purpose🤣. I would love to try riding on a frozen lake sometime. I was in Namsos, Norway last October. But no Ice.

Lauri, I bet the next time you and Anni travel long distances across the ice, you two will both have back-packs full of provisions in case you are caught out without shelter, water, food, a fire starter & cooking implements! I live in Indiana in USA and I can only remember two winters that it was cold enough for enough time to be able to freeze lakes enough to get on the ice and even after we checked the thickness and it was plenty safe I still felt like it would break everytime it made a sound lol it was fun though we got our four wheeler out there lol

Mesmerizing land or i guess ice scape. Lovely presenters and rather exotic idea (where i am from most lakes or bodies of water do not freeze over even during winter). Pretty good video.

I live next to Lake Michigan in Michigan USA and I been on many frozen lakes. This looks like you've had several freeze and thaw cycles and this makes for a rough ride on a bike. I wouldn't trust those crusty frozen snow areas without poking them with a rod or pole to see whats underneath..... For fun sometimes when I was a kid I would walk out on Muskegon lake when a carferry was breaking ice and both hear and feel the ice cracking! Very pretty countryside there! Thanks for sharing this video.

Fun!!! I put a rain cover on my helmet in winter. Not just for rain, though: it builds a nice little microclimate inside and keeps my head warm.

Happy to see Anni but sad that havent seen Nelly. Hope she's OK. Our oldest cat has now 16 yrs. 🙂
