great cover! im planning to buy a loop pedal myself for roland 401r piano, got any suggestions on which one to buy?

hello, recently i've been trying to find a way to live loop a keyboard and i'm just wondering what software you used and what hardware is required? :) sounds great btw

Thanks, I recommend any loop pedal made by Boss. Particularly the Boss RC20XL or the RC 50.

@GoldThing8 жыл бұрын
Hey. Sure you can. But why not use the original fatboy slim song?
@VadkoSmelyanskiy9 жыл бұрын
The sad part is that Fatboy Slim himself just presses the play button on his performances, and twists some knobs. Rock on!

Hey there :D Awesome video! How do you connect your loopstation to your keyboard? :3
@GoldThing9 жыл бұрын
Hey James, thanks. My piano, bass and other devices are all plugged into a small mixer, which is sent to my loopstation
@jannisknupfer29499 жыл бұрын
Thanks, so if I only want to loop a keyboard or a piano, do I just have to buy a loopstation or also this mixer? Is this mixer only relevant if I want to loop more than one instrument or has it another function?
@GoldThing9 жыл бұрын
***** Yes, you would only need a loop station to loop one instrument. I use the mixer so I don't have to keep unplugging and plugging leads into different inputs during a performance.
@jannisknupfer29499 жыл бұрын
ahh that makes sense, thank you. One last question: Do you maybe know something about virtual pianos? Like "synthogy Ivory 2" and stuff like that? These are pc-softwares that simulate a piano sound. They are controlled by a midi keyboard like your digital piano for example. But the sound is produced in the software. So do you know if it is possible to loop a virtual piano? Or if you don't know about virtual pianos: Is it possible to connect the output of an interface to a loopstation? :)
@GoldThing9 жыл бұрын
***** Yes, I am familiar with virtual pianos, not the one you mentioned, but I do use other virtual piano software. These usually come built into music production/recording software such as Pro Tools (which I use) or Logic, Reason or Cubase etc... In some of my other videos I use a MIDI keyboard as well as my piano to get synth sounds (or drums or just about any sound you could want!) And yes, you can connect just about any sound source into a loop station as long as it has an output (most commonly a 1/4 inch jack)

what headphones are??
@GoldThing7 жыл бұрын
Headphones are a device consisting of a pair of earphones joined by a band placed over the head, for listening to audio signals such as music or speech. Only joking! They're Beyerdynamic DT 100s

@GoldThing3 жыл бұрын
@@skysurfer6870 Haha, I understand now. Thanks but I don't work professionally as a musician or producer, but I do have an album of original music that I recorded myself (on my KZfaq or Spotify)
