Not part of the NRS community or anything. I am just a Tekken player (Feng main) who had this recommended to me. I might be higher rank than you and i got better combos (yours need some improvements) but i gotta say you have a talent for making your opponents eat hop kicks and back Kenpo 3. That kept me watching, need to add this skill to my arsenal.

59:45 Ironically the only small channel that could grow because of Fate is bootyhunter, everyone else was growing because of their opinion, gameplay or because of Tekken's release.

Fate does not know what hell he is talking about. He complains that Mortal Kombat 1 has too high damaging combos, yet he says he plays Tekken. You can get high damage combos in that game as well, like 60%-70% damage. All with no breaker, so you'll have to eat it all up.

Incidentally, i've found people competent or even "serious" about fighting games. Especially in the early years, being very far removed from the stereotypical gamer (of the era). I could go to the arcades in most areas of the north of England, play competitively against players who did the same. Then see these same faces around the bars and warehouse parties, later that night. There was a massive crossover between fighting games, and the house/rave scene of the era for example. Tekken has always been embraced by those who follow the dance music scene. To the point that Sony used to sponsor pods in places like Nation, Ministry and Gatecrasher. ------ Even more so now, fighting games seem to attract, still, a rather more "socially mobile" type of player. One reason there's often a backlash when people call them out i suspect. Many who play are "the lads", who can effortlessly give it back. So now, when the fgc players, give back better than they get in the first place...They're the "aggressors"!
