What i like about this battle is that no talking or boasting about powers in the middle of the fight unlike most shounen anime...

Got to love the fact that this is Signum at age 20 (ish), going up against a 9 year old, and stalemating each other. Fate is that badass. And she gets so much better (and hotter) with age. Of course, Signum later gets Agito, and then gets even more badass herself.

Man that was a cool fight, not gonna lie. It wasn't in the 2nd As film which I watched instead of the TV series, but that's no big deal. I'm going to watch the TV series soon enough so I'll definitely get to see it there. :) I love this franchise so far, even though I've only watched the films and seen one episode of the anime from the first season, which I'll definitely fix within the next week or two.

Like she say fate is too fast for ehr to chase and run for so it doesnt matter of the skills.. its the speed

@heroicmasterchief You can take your opinions. Truth is, most of the fights in DBZ involved simply throwing around large amounts of energy with not a lot of tactics. But if you prefer the high speed and lack of varied attacks, that's fine.

that...is a fight that blows anything in DBZ to smithereens, and then some. Ladies and gentleman, you just saw what anime fights should be like. Oh, and there is a game for this-it's for the PSP. There's also Magical Battle Arena, which features multiple anime.

It's before that actually. I read somewhere that the writer hadn't even considered making Aizen the bad guy until after he had killed him off back in Seireitei. Can't remember where though, but if you look at the series it felt like Kubo was winging it since the Arrancar Arc (Hollows obeying Shinigami? That sure as hell didn't come from his Shikai!). Don't get me wrong here, Aizen was a great villain, he was just never meant to get played the "Super Saiyan 3 transformation" card with.

Given how Cypha seems to be set up as Signum's rival in Force, I think it's safe to say that she'll somehow catch up to her by series end. In fact, wasn't it stated that Laevaetein was being repaired and upgraded so that it wouldn't break against Mage Killers?

But they don't stalemate each other. Fate admits that she would have lost to Signum if their fight hadn't gotten interupted.

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. I just can't get into Naruto cause i'm just to tired of cliche things like losing a fight then some random power comes from the hero's ass and they win the fight. Either that or they have a flashback before they ALMOST die. OR and this is my favourite of all anime cliches. The hero's best friend bursts out of nowhere and begins to fight in the next episode. up to this day i still wonder why i watched it int the first place

@mandrake01 Pffff, FORCE is a fine example of what happens if continuity is given the middle finger. Seriously asking though, it's hard to gauge where FORCE wants to go because so far the story is one "HURRRR I MOR POEWRFUL THAN U" after another. It got especially ridiculous when they brought out Unicorn's double 'gatlings for some pipsqueak that just got her ass saved.

Given how big Villain sues the Haukenbern (sp?) has turned into, that´s not really saying much

It's not so much her reputation has been shot, so much as the Hakuben group are overpowered, plus are using techniques that inherently are near totally immune to what magic Signum is capable of using. Or as Azmodeus87 said it: they're Mary Sues. If it'll make you feel better, even over in Japan there is a -hell- of a lot of flak coming down on the mangaka writer for how bad it's gotten.

Signum's reputation as a fighter has been turned into a joke in the current FORCE manga. Even with new equipement she failed her task to capture Cypha.

Watching this now I see how dated the animation is. Is still very epic! I love the fights!

Curren is the best swordswoman, she defeated Hayate, Vita and Erio in rapid succession with a mere katana (she even destroyed their AEC-units) like a total BOSS Signum is still decent but she's very outclassed by Cypha and Curren now. She's now far from the badass she used to be.

@mandrake01 She was actually holding back when fighting fate and age doesn't matter at the most, also signum did pretty well against that other girl, the only problem was the difference in their weapons, she didnt horribly lost at all, she techinally should have won if the oppontent didnt regenerate. Bleach would be consistent if theyu followed the implied storyline instead of the stupid version they went with. If they had gone witht he Sandal Hat is the actual bad guy storyline the whole series woulda been perfect. And that is how they set thew series up. Think about it, up until the moment when Aizen combines with the Shattering Stone, Sandal Hat was very clearly the one behind everything. ZEvery time Ichigo became more powerful you could see his hands were involved. Then they abandoned it

Bleach was fine up until...Ichigo vs Ulquiorra. The fights/storyline after that was poorly done in my opinion. Naruto isn't worse than Bleach since there is a larger consistency throughout the story than there is in Bleach which seems to be focused on just making Ichigo out to be the strongest through illogical developments.

@shadowknighthikari Wrong, i'm only commenting against the Signum fanbase, Fate is doing reasonably well against the Huckebein right now. Signum on the other hand has lost her motivation to fight which is lame beyond belief, the author defanged Signum and turned her into a moe character, such a way to end her legend.
