I’ve built several houses over the years, my son was 13 when I did the last one and it was the best to do it together. Now he’s married and I get to help him.

Watching your son fall thru the floor after having laid the insulation brought back some loving memories of when my kids were little and they helped me during our remodel, except they came thru the ceiling!

I just found your channel and this video was my first to watch. I subscribed immediately. I wish I could get my son to be more interested in the outdoors like my daughter is. We have a piece of property in central Louisiana between the Mississippi River and Red River I need to build a cabin on. I guess I need to just drag them up there from where we live. Keep making videos and getting your son out there with you.

nice job my experience is you want to put some plywood over that insulation on the floor ie protect it from animals and something under that stove to protect the wood but nice job and you have a fine helper there

Make sure the pipes insert correctly they sent us one with design flaw which will cause creosote to leak down on the outside of pipe onto the stove
