Nothing wrong with letting kids cry. They need to learn they can't always get what the want. Why do you think we have so many entitled kids today?

Kids need to cry so they can learn to self regulate emotions...it's an important part of development! You are great parents.

It is good to let them cry a little. They learn they are ok. They learn to take care of themselves. So I don’t understand the people who complain.

Nothing wrong with letting the boys cry for a little bit to fall alseep, I think it teaches them the start of independence, instead of having to co sleep or hold them while they go to sleep... don't worry about what people say about your parenting you two do a great job! I find keeping the east side window curtains closed in the morning and the west side closed in the afternoon helps keep it about ten degrees cooler.

I been cutting hair since I was 13 years young. Now I'm a grandmother of 5 my daughter cuts my haircut and her family's. Glad I passed down since she was 13. Our son never wanted to learn. There nothing wrong with putting your children to bed at naps & bedtime & letting them cry or having screaming melt downs .just check on them every few minutes .or use a baby monitors .so u can see them even with maverick. I use to let my three cry their selfs to sleep .but of course I would check on them & also had baby monitors on them.

Kids have to cry to calm themselves down. I am not talking about newborns, but, as they get older, they need to relax. Also, most parents know the different tones of crying. The saying “Walk a mile in my shoes, keep your opinions to yourself and especially if they are negative! You two are amazing parents, pudding in the proof!
