Praise your Holy name Father. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I know it affects others that I love and not in a good way. I do need your wisdom to deal with my health challenges because I have been praying about what to do or just crying out to you on what direction I should take. I know you’re still in the business of healing people. Again I ask you, and not just because I feel so much physical pain, but because my pain affects others that are so near and dear to me. I don’t sleep well but I’m not lazy. I just can’t bend over long enough to do anything or kneel down and always have a headache that if it’s just a regular headache, I’m so much more aware of my spinal pain especially in my lower back. But Lord, you know I’ve had 5 knee surgeries but they were a long time ago but they are bone on bone and I have doctors telling me that I need to get my left knee replaced before they would touch my back because my “gait” is off and I’ve been told that if that’s not corrected, the my low back surgery I’ve been putting off won’t ever heal properly. Father, in the name of Jesus, I don’t want to have anymore surgeries because I don’t feel I can handle the rehabs on my knee or back. I also know that I had surgeries that I wish I could have a do-over on. The arthritis that’s set into my spine and knees and neck along with the scoliosis I believe happened when I had a double fusion in my neck back in 2008. It made me very much unable to do much of anything and I would like to be happy like I used to be for my wife and childhood sweetheart who’s been married to me over 41 years and together since we were 15. I want my grandchildren to know that “Grampa” isn’t mean or cranky but trying to be normal and failing miserably. I want to pray that today for my #3 sons wife who is having a c-section because they have been told the baby is breach and this is a safer way to go. This will be our 10th grandchild from 4 of our 5 sons. I pray “without ceasing” for a miracle because it seems like nothing I have tried has helped me yet and I’m only 60. I don’t know if a pain pump is what you want me to try and get. I just know that there’s so many things wrong with my body, I am terrified of going to this extreme but I’ve been down this road before and it didn’t end well. But I also couldn’t tell you the last time I didn’t feel pain. Mornings are worse or if I bend over it’s unbearable in a matter of seconds. Father, in the name of Jesus I just ask for your wisdom or direction so that I can be apart of my family again. I ask again for your forgiveness for the times I just couldn’t stand knowing I couldn’t wait to go to sleep because that’s the only time I’m not aware of the pain. I wake up many times a night and other than being stiff, that’s about the best my head feels all day. I’m so tired of stealing my wife’s peace over this and whatever way I go that’s not natural upsets her. It scares me but I damaged my body as a flooring installer and from playing sports. Lord, please steer me the way I’m supposed to go and then give me the strength and courage to go through it please. I ask this not just for me but for my family because I’m missing out on so much time with my own adult sons and grandkids not to mention my wife and I coexist more than talk because I always have this in the back of my mind. You are my healer Lord and I believe that if I go to a doctor, it will still be you working through them to give me some sort of life. I know there’s so many people out there that need just a roof over their heads and some food in their stomachs so I feel pretty selfish even asking for you to heal me, but your word says that when two or three are gathered in your name, anything we ask (according to your goodwill and purpose) will be granted. I want to be a blessing and a Born Again believer that people see how much I love you and not just being alone most of the time while I stay home and miss out on my family get togethers because I rarely don’t ask them if there’s somewhere I can lay down with an ice pack or something to help me to get through the day. I don’t know what else to do other than to keep asking for a touch from you Father in the precious name of Jesus who shed His blood at Calvary so that anyone who puts their faith in what He did for us may have life eternal and have a healing so our witness is so much stronger. I’m fearful of the consequences of any decision I make and fear is not of you but the evil one. I’m going to try to get through what should be a happy day with a new baby coming and just trust you will save me from myself by not allowing me to make the wrong decision. I want you to tell me someday, “Well done good and faithful servant,” along with a new spiritual body that won’t ever feel pain and anxiety again. It’s in the precious name of your Son, Jesus Christ I ask all these things and to whom all the glory goes to. Amen 🙏
