My friend Taylor loved playing this album at work. Usually he was listening to country and singing at the top of his lungs. I hated it. But man I miss it. And I wish I could walk in hearing this album playing knowing that he was there. Taylor was killed in a car accident about a week ago. I went through a lot to try and find this album and I am so happy I finally did. I cried as soon as I heard the first note. I can still hear him singing along. RIP Taylor. We miss you dearly.

Sorry to hear that.. Poor boy, I’m sure he’s in a better place.. This album was playing the day I chugged an entire bottle of Smirnoff vodka in the shower when I was like 16 on the swim team cuz I didn’t know that I had a limit haha and I showed up at one of the team meetings so drunk that I blacked out and apparently projectile vomited everywhere and cussed one of my teachers out and apparently told this one girl she had really nice boobs. And one of my friends drove me home before supposedly the cops came haha. I was the swim captain and they kicked me off the team and I just went to online school after that🐬🐬

I first heard this album when I was on a burn run and was really stoned. I remember the music took me to the most peaceful place I have ever been in my life. Even sober this mans voice is just like sex to my ears. Will forever be apart of me and my college experience.

Nick Gagas Yes! Definitely plenty of Beach Boys in the vocal work and harmonies. Somewhere between Carl and Dennis Wilson, with the simplicity of Mike Love, also. Also, a bit of Frank Black's intensity. A winner!

this is a cool album. i like how the general shift of alt music toward album format over single format that dominated the early 2000s. ~40 minute cohesive works that should be listened to as a whole.

I dig this guy. I wish I could see him in chicago. he's the type of music I'd play late at night, freaking out about a project I need done, a boyfriend I need to make out with, a car ride with early stars, a christmas lit booth in my favourite bar whilst on my fourth pint. in my current world so dark, he gives me a brighter spot in a few minutes. cheers.
