For someone who invests in Sports cards you really don't know a lot. A Patch and a Jersey are not the same thing. Patch is a number, name or insignia. A Jersey is the uniform the patch goes on. An RPA is a Rookie Patch Auto.

Getting the kids into it with you is what this should be about. The hobby lost its way in 2020, but now it may be back in the right direction now that the fast money is slowing down.

As someone who was away from the football card hobby for many years and is just now coming back, it’s so sad to me that nowadays it’s not super easy to get jersey cards that are PLAYER WORN, much less game worn. 15-20 years ago, just about every single jersey card was game-used (unless it was a rookie). What has changed?

A lazy “I.S” sticker “auto” and a fake Mahomes patch card 😂😂😂😂 this is why I buy pre-panini era cards. Gimmick after gimmick that’s it’s embarrassing. No wonder the hobby is slowly fading. If fanatic let’s players get away with fake autos on stickers and they put in fake patches….. modern cards will be dead.
