My dad , lamenting my brothers failure to raise his boys to his standard, once told me "You have to raise boys with fear". To which I asked... "Did you expect your boys to love you?" I never once welcomed my father home. I always feared him. He justified his temper by calling it discipline. The only real peace I felt from him was after he died.

+Nunzio Raso I kept saying don't move, don't move a muscle nor breathe because they know what you're up to! LOL My son is now 8 going on 9 in February and I remember funny things similar to this, but I was a major stickler and refocused our son to ever sleep in our bed, but he did win many nights of mom passed out in her breastfeeding chair.. the day he was born he would cry and cry and cry so the nurse took him out of his little clear crib and said here put him on your chest because some babies need to hear a heart beat for soothing them to sleep. Later at home I forgot about what she said thanks to pregnancy brain and one day it clicked and I finally got him a heartbeat toy and it worked most every night with a rare occasion... He's independent and sleeps in his room alone with no night lights, etc. He's also incredibly intelligent and I wish I was able to have more children after him but he was our miracle baby and I'm grateful that we didn't lose him after almost losing him at 26 weeks then again at 28 weeks. Your daughter is very beautiful and has an amazing set of parents! Merry Christmas! 💖🎁🎄

You are aware crying it out is healthy and teaches them to be more independent right? If they are not hungry, in need of changing, or hurt, letting them cry it out is best, it teaches them to be more self-sufficient. As a father of 4 kids, I've learned to tell the difference between a real cry and an attention cry just by hearing what kind of sound they make.

I am almost 33 years old and I still run to my mom when I’m scared or sad lol and I’m a mom myself so I know the comfort I get from my mom and apply that to my babies we all need our mommas and dads unfortunately my dad passed 2 years ago and it kills me to this day I’d do anything to fall asleep on my daddy 1 more time I miss him more than words could ever express!!!! This is a good dad!!!! Love the video!

My grandson was this way!! It’s crazy how they’ll lay on you and move and reposition themselves so you’re still connected. They know when you move and can tell the difference between a warm body and a cold bed. Those lil sneaky snickerdoodles.😘 We never want to see them cry. My kids say how much more stern I was when they were kids but I’m super compassionate towards my only grandchild.🙄😬😂 I do discipline him cause I don’t want to be sorry later.

He's stuffed in the crib with a baby who clearly adores him and the only downside to that is he can no longer feel his legs. Maybe take the baby out and rock it for awhile until it goes to sleep then put it back in the crib. Just a suggestion. You're a good man dad.👶❤
@najlaaqader38383 жыл бұрын
Shes now 11😂
@CatholicaMama3 жыл бұрын
Your suggestion usually doesn’t work! 😅.. I have 4 kids... eventually, at some point for your own sanity the baby needs to learn to fall asleep on their own.. for sme babies is easy, but the majority do struggle 🤪
